Hi there,
I need some advice about Talk Talk member forum.
This may sounds like a stupid question
, but can anyone tell me whether the forum is “legitimate”?
I have been experience loads of problems with Talk Talk in the past two months about my direct debit, and found many people had their problem resolve via the forum website. I was able to made contact with one of the TT representative about my issue using the TT member forum, but now that the process has reach to a stage where I have to provide them my banking details (using PM). I am very concern about giving out personal information online; is there any legal protection about this kind of online forum, if anything goes wrong? Where do I stand?
I know the best thing is to get them to write me a formal letter (I tried before and it didn't works), and I refuse to call TT customer service again, as it’s almost impossible to get anything done through them, so I don’t really know what to do?
Many thanks

Yes the forum is part of talktalk, however unlike the poster above, I've found it to be very good. Sorted out my issue of slow speeds anyway!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
