I got facial balm from them ,just over a week ago . But its not really a facial balm (I use Neals Yard one) Its more a foundation ..... very thick too ,and has broke me out I think (need to keep an eye out on it) anyone else doing this one - and if so ,you have any breaks out with it ?

Its called Facial Balm = Medium . Dry to very dry skin .

I'm doing this one & haven't had any problems, I'm using it instead of my foundation, like you say it's very thick and you only need a very small amount.

Yes me too ,but Iv also had the flu so I will just assume the break out is due to that and not the Facial Balm . As to the amount ,I'm using it in finger tip sizes ,to see how much I need on (and you only need a very little) I like it though ,Its good coverage but not cakey even though it's so thick .

    Thanks for that :)

I too completed the sun lotion trial and sent all questionnaires back. I e-mailed them last week and still no reply. I'm glad I came across this thread as I was worried I may have been the only one! I hope we get our reward soon. It was my first product trial with boots so I wasn't sure how long it took for them to process the reward.

has anyone been paid this week from the suncream trials?they need to pull their fingers out!

Just received this email from Boots
    Dear volunteer,

Thank you for taking part in our children’s sun cream study. This study is now coming to an end and we need to make sure we have as many completed forms in as possible. Could we therefore ask that completed forms are returned to us no later than Monday September 26th. We will not be able to include any forms we receive after this date.

Now the study is finished we are also making arrangements to make payments. We had originally indicted that we would issue a £30 voucher to spend on line for people who completed the study ie all 15 forms returned. We appreciate however that for some people finding sunny days on which to use the sun cream has been a challenge so we have decided to vary the payment for this study dependant on the number of questionnaires we have received from you.

Payment will therefore be made as follows:

    Payment
    Number of questionnaires received
    £30
    13, 14 or 15
    £25
    10, 11, or 12
    £20
    7, 8, or 9
    £15
    5 or 6
    £10
    3 or 4
    £5
    1 or 2
    £0
    0

In addition to this we have encountered some technical issues in making electronic payment so instead we will be issuing Boots vouchers that you can spend in store. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Your vouchers should be with you by Monday 10th October. We realise that for some of you who were able to catch the sunny school days at the end of last term you have had to wait a while for your payment and we thank you for your patience.

    Kind regards
  • I logged into my Boots Panel account today and I noticed that alot of the trials on "My Trials" account had "Recruited" along side the item. Does this mean that I will be doing the trial or does this mean that they have enough people to do the trial. I have never had a trial from them and I wondered what this means.
