Why would he do so? What would be the point unless you could reuse the laminate, and that would depend on the layout of the new property.
What was agreed? I am sure the landlord would expect there to be some sort of floorcovering left in the property so is it really worth it?0 -
No because it's the LL floor and not the tenants.
If either of them take it up they would need the LL permission and probably have to replace it with the equivalent of what was there originally. If the the floor is ripped up then if will be considered damage and deducted from the deposit.
I'm assuming the boyfriend has moved out and the girlfriend still lives in flat so he doesn't like her having the benefit of the new floor? If so and deductions from the deposit don't deter the boyfriend then the girlfriend needs to decide if she wants to make a payment towards floor (to ex) or not.0 -
Sounds rather peurile and spiteful.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Tell him to take the floor, then she can get a cheap carpet put down once he's gone!
At least she can have some amusement watching him rip it all up and look like a prat!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
why don't you offer to buy him the same type of flooring.0
