    I don't think so you get the point. I call forward to a telecom number which offer calling while my office black berry was dead. when I dial that number it give me a option to dail a number and I dial it with my other office desk phone as well. It wasn't personal calls at all.
    Let me explain you here.
    Office phone call foward to >>>> 0845 no (offer to dial) >>>> dial land line from my office second land line or from my personal mobile to dial any number I can't access during my bb was dead and landline was not dialing the number.
    Anyway if you appreciating this way, I'm still thankful.

    I'd never done it before but this was special circumstances and I've resason to do it and even manager was aware of it.
    Definatly, would never do it again.

  • Your system would remove all tracking of calls and so on. It is a misuse of the system and because of the lack of tracking motives cant be proven.

    Its quite hard often for large companies to provide a specific breakdown of calls on company landlines without going to considerable effort and expense.

    It's actually incredibly easy for a large company to do this, they'll all have modern PBX capable of a variety of detailed reporting.

    It doesn't take long to run a report on any extension number or even a dialled number as some staff at work will use different phones not to get caught out.

    My advice would be to ask HR to provide you with a copy of all email correspondence relating to you and this matter and if you have any meetings in the future always take someone with you to advise you and to be a witness. There must be a trusted colleague that you work with that would help you out.

    I have had this in the past when a manger user devious tactics to make my life difficult and it was down to having someone with me that was up to speed with employment law that resulted in an apology to me and all accusations dropped.
  • Yes but if the person has been using a call forwarding system they will have no idea who has been getting called beyond the forwarding service.

    Tbh I am not surprised he is on a discliplinary for doing it. He could have spent his whole working day speaking to sex lines and the company couldnt find out

    The manager hasnt been devious at all. Its clearly the OP who has the devious trait given his every attempt to avoid the companies monitoring systems.

    We had the same issue where I used to work, we couldnt dial 0906 numbers or numbers that didnt accept calls from anonymous numbers, to resolve this we used the fax line, totally traceable, I would never have put myself in the OP's position, if I cant call a number I dont do the work till the company get it sorted, simples

    I agree with you. Anyway I'm still in the middle of this hell and trying to figure out my options.
    They have not provided me any evidences yet and mention they're still investigating, while even in the last meeting they're failed to present any clear allegations. I's keeping asking for information.

  • Updates: I'd a call from my HR about that they'd new panel for diciplinary action and will contac me in next couple of days. She also send me a letter confirming that they'll provide all evidences to new panel and decide the future.
    I'm still very concernt they'd told me that panel will do an independent investigation and then make judgement. Not sure what to do................... Also, they'll send me evidences in next week th'll used against me during that diciplinary meeting.
    Any Ideas, or question that may help me to prepare my case very well.
    I'm also very concern that I may not have anyone to represent me....any idean what can I do in case?
