what device(s) do you have between your PC and the internet - modem, router, etc?
And Steve Gibson is a master of misinformation. Some of his tools are OK for a quick scan of course.
You might want to discuss the pros and cons of stealth -vs- closed at some point........ he says, running away from the unopened can of wormsIn the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0 -
Just for info, I use a Dlink DSL-G604T wireless router which has a built-in firewall AND run CA Internet Suite on the PC.
Security is set up via 128 bit WEP encryption and MAC address access list.
The CA suite cost less than £30.00 and so far it has protected my system for the last 3 years without any problem.
Also run:
Spybot
Adaware
Spywareblaster
MS Defender
Naomi
If anybody has any further suggestions, let me know.0 -

then the ports open are really on your PC....
do you have a webserver locally? Because it looks like ZA has these ports open (80 is for http, 443 is for https).
What happens if you click on this http://localhost ?In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0 -
