Thanks for the advice Jeannieblue i agree finding someone you trust is hard.Me I'm just a check the oil tyres and top up with water as and when sort of guy. not mechanically minded.
I will ask around and see whats what. I use to use a little back street garage he's ok but he doesn't use genuine parts and that's why he is cheap but as i have learnt through life cheap is not always best.0 -
No, cheap is not always best - if he is a good mechanic, VAT registered etc., could you not supply a genuine service kit yourself and get him to do it?thornbridge wrote: »Thanks for the advice Jeannieblue i agree finding someone you trust is hard.Me I'm just a check the oil tyres and top up with water as and when sort of guy. not mechanically minded.

It does need servicing in order to keep the warranty, after all it is a year old.
The garage might be able to do you a deal since it's done so few miles, but much of the work is just according to schedule no matter how many miles it has done.0 -
I rang both the dealers up and played them off against each other one said they could do it for £155 and the one i bought it from ,from out of town said £130. Does that seem a good deal. It's only 15 miles away.0
