Not all of them walked off though, and some were never with the mother in a bonified relationship in the 1st place, and then some it was the mother that thought the grass was greener elsewhere, Im sure many cases are unique, men and women may not be equal but are certainly different to each other and it seems the sucessful relationships are those where BOTH parties realise and accept that, the rest hang out on forums like MSE CSA :A0 -

I agree with DUTR (except the final sentance!). I am a PWC who was in a relationship for 5 years and in the process of buying a house with him...previuosly rented. He walked out on me pregnant with our 2nd child for a new life...all he wanted was his share of the household goods for his new home with his new lady...not our kids. Now for me that is a case where he should get the book thrown at him...to this day, 13 years later..he dodges the CSA in anyway he can using every excuse in the book.0

However...my now husband is a NRP..pays money through the CSA however, he became a father to a woman he was in a relationship with for 1 week...she wasnt a nice person and openly admits to getting pregnant on purpose....she changed her mind constantly about whether he was allowed to see the child..hence no bond was formed. So now he doesnt see the child and hasnt for a long time. Now for men who are put in a position of fatherhood that way....well no they shouldnt have the book thrown at them..in fact i fully understand why they feel the way they do..i know i would feel the same., if men think they can sow their seeds whether it be a one night stand, a week fling, or a proper relationship and walk away then they deserve everything they get.

This thread has been about NRPs who choose not to have contact with their children, and these are the NRPs I am talking about. NOt those who don't know about the children, or whose PWCs are refusing contact - I am purely talking about NRPs who choose to walk away from their responsibilities - regardless of the situation.0 -
Yes, women can get pregnant all by themselves - the fathers never have a choice do they? They are incapable of either saying 'no' (relationship for 1 week), or sticking a condom on it - they are either very gullable if they believe a woman who they have just met who tells them they are on the pill, or choose to believe her as sex is so much better with no condom.0

With due respect kellogs , the thread is about a contact blocker getting locked up! read the original post, yes it has diverted onto other topics, I think my earlier post this evening was more balanced, where as your post seems to be an attack on NRPs again :eek:0 -
So she did it on purpose  he had no control whatsoever about using condom

Anyways I'm sure we all have our own episode of woe to tell and perhaps at the time of conception and after the birth both parties may have believed that they were both going to live happily ever after with family bliss :A0
