Oh

Never mind then.
Thanks for your help though savemoney!
Turn that frown upside down!
That tool checks whether you can run a 64bit OS as a vitual machine in VMWare. This requires EM64T and, for Intel processors, something called VT which not all of them have.
If you were to install a 64bit OS in the standard way, it would be enough just to have EM64T - which you have!:j0 -
I'm 84% into downloading the x86 one now

By the looks of it I can only support up-to 2GB of ram anyway, nothing about support for dual core either.
LOL a hackintosh? Sounds good to me.

Not bad for my P4
Maybe one day I will get round to trying x64

I have a intel core 2 @ 2.13ghz with 4gb ram cheapo nvidia card 8400gs, this is my server
I am using 64bit version.
I get 3.5 total score
in order
5.2
5.2
3.5
5.1
5.8
What you think of it then.
I got it in my lappy and server, no additional drivers needed. I am tempted to put it in my gaming rig0 -

There shouldn't be any apprehension about installing it over an x86 based system if the hardware you have has drivers available.0 -
Yes I almost installed it at weekend, I made the mistake of installing that piece of garbage nero 9 and almost decided what the hell shove windows 7 on. What with a slow bootup for vista 64 sp2 done the usually suspects but it appears there's a bug in intel chipset for x64 os which can make a slow bootup on vista640

If it's going on a desktop then sleep mode is the better choice for powering it down. There aren't many times that a full reboot should really be necessary.0

I dont use that pc every day, mainly keeps photos, music, business stuff, dont really play that many games now0

Tis very pretty, start menu's a tad flat like
I like the way the windows are when you hover over em when they open up from the start menu, thats cool!
I like the standard backgrounds, some decent ones for once lol! And the widgits dont have the side bar anymore! Got the weather one on there.
Im running 486MB on the ram with firefox and windows live messenger which isn't bad, it's about what XP was doing, I didnt have to install one driver either, well, apart from my webcam
I'm going to have to find out how to move the my documents over to d: though, and how to download flash player but that might be Adobe's fault as I cant get past that pick your OS screen...0
