    Hello!

Just an update for you all..!
I contacted consumer direct for a bit of advice as well, and they advised that it seemed as if the shop had broken the Misrepresentation Act when selling the sofa.. so armed with this information I wrote to the Head Office.. I sent the letter on Tuesday.. the letter was directed straight back to the store..!

I received a phone call today saying that we can go in and choose a replacement sofa, or get a full refund! :j

Am so chuffed.. no more numb bum! We'll be popping to the store this weekend to see if there is another one we like, but if not we will get the money and go else where!

    Yay!

Going by the trouble you have had with them it might be worth getting a refund.

We have gone else where as we'd completey arranged our living room around the size and colour of the old sofa.. and JL didn't have anything that would fit or was the right colour!
  • I too have fallen foul of the Sofa bed scenario at the same store... I went in last week to tell them that my £999 sofabed was really uncomfortable to sit on, and last week I used it as a bed for 3 nights when family visited... felt like I need a Chiropractor by the end of it!

I went in, they took my details and said someone would contact me. That was a week ago... nothing so far!

I only bought the thing 3 months ago!!!

I am calling head office now, I will let you all know the outcome.
    Alex.
