mobile charges

is there a website that gives the different charges for mobile phone companies?
I am on orange payg and get really p***** off when i get charged for a call which isnt connected .ie-if their phone is off or in a bad area.I dont even get the option to leave a message but i still get charged---what for?
Any advice will be welcome. ;)

    You don't get charged when a call is not connected.

    You do get charged if you encounter an answerphone service.

    What you get charged when you hit a voicemail,or get an answer depends on what tariff your on and whether your calling own network or x-net.Latest tariffs can be found on Orange site.

    As a low user I am looking for cheap texts-no charge if i dont want to leave a message-and a sensible payg call tariff!-but as I asked-is there a site that compares services and charges?

    Not really. Tariffs change so fast and there are so many of them. Besides, the tariff for making calls is your own tariff so you should be able to find detail of this from your service provider.

    All service provider make a charge if you receive an answerphone service because the call is regarded as "connected".

    However, there is a website from which you can send free and unlimited amounts of texts to any UK mobile:
