Toopaste - sorry but I only really like Colgate but tend to buy it BOGOF.
    Mouthwash - don't buy
Shampoo & Conditioner - I don't use conditioner very day so bought some Tresemme when it was on special ages ago. Still got loads left. Shampoo I bought from Costco and lasts me on my own for a year for less than £10.
Soap - buy the cheapest - not fussy
Deoderant - I use a rock crystal that I bought off the internet for £8. Should last at least 2 years and is all natural so kind to my skin.
Tampons - don't use, Have a mooncup instead. Still have to wear a towel so just buy the cheapest with wings I can get!!
Moisturiser - I use cucumber one from Boots (their own range). Nothing fancy and I also use Aqueous cream (which is fab just a bit rich for my face).
Face wipes - just baby wipes here. Got young kids so always in supply anyway.
Face scrub - don't use, just a flannel or someone recommended a muslin which I've yet to try.
bubble bath - don't tend to use as we shower mostly.
Shower gel - had some for xmas which I am getting through. Otherwise it's Dove when it's on offer.

Toothpaste - Supermarkets own brand - traditonal tubes are far cheaper than pumps. Two tubes of Signal for 99p in the 99p store at the moment BTW.

Mouthwash - Only use occasionally so a bottle lasts months - again supermarket cheapie.

Shampoo & Conditioner - Stock up on Tresemme or L'Oreal when on offer and it lasts months.

Soap - Dove that I can use on my face.

Deodorant - Imperial Leather or Amplex roll-on is fine.

    Tampons - Tesco.

Moisturiser - Bought lots of Almay from poundland a few months back. Otherwise look for reduced to clear items. I also use Aqueous cream on my arms and legs as a body lotion.

Face wipes - Can't bear them, they dry my skin out terribly.

    Face scrub - Don't use.

Bubble bath - Don't use much, usually have a Radox in the bathroom.

Shower gel - Mr MM buys his own, otherwise I use soap on a puff thing or get given it for gifts.

The nylon puffs are brilliant for using small amounts of shower gel or body wash.

Okay, Im compiling my shopping list for the coming month ( Soda Crystals, Star Drops and Cheap Bleach ), have got our food bill down to what I am happy with ( without having to resort to cheap supermarket meat, and caged eggs ) looking back at last months spend, toiletries seem to be a big expense that I really wish I could reduce in cost, but have no idea how to.

So come on you old stylers, how much do you spend on toiletries ( essentials ) and how do you make them truly MSE

List of what I buy every month

Toothpaste Home Bargains - Arm + Hammer
    Mouth Wash dont use
Shampoo and Conditioner Lidl own brand
Hard Soap Home Bargains - Dove or Simple
Roll on Deodrant Home Bargains - Dove or Sure
Tampons amd Pantyliners Home bargains own brand or Lidl own
Moisturiser ( day and night ) Aldi Siana day cream and night cream
    Eye Cream see above
Face Wipes Home Bargains - Simple Multi Pack
    Face Scrub Warm flannel
    Bubble Bath Lidl
    Shower Gel
    Home Bargains or Lidl

My dental nurse friend has said that using mouthwash at the same time as toothpaste is a waste of product.
I thought about using mouthwash in the mornings as haven't had any food and brushing in the evenings - but to be honest I love the feeling of brushing - so mouthwash is getting dusty in the corner.
You could probably drop this off the list.

Also echo other posters on the face wipes...use a flannel or muslin. Following advice from this board I moved to oil cleansing method and my skin has never looked better - spots happen very rarely and my deep wrinkle on my forehead is not so obvious - plus its really cheap. I think I paid £2.50 for the castor oil, olive oil is in the kitchen and in several months I still haven't used more than a quarter of the little bottle...

You can use olive oil as a moisturiser. I wouldn't bother with the eye cream.
I haven't bought soap for years. I make my own and because I took part in a few swaps on the soapmaking forums I belong to, I've still got loads and loads of bars stashed away!
Don't use mouthwash. I just give my mouth a good swoosh with water from the tap.
You can make a facial scrub with bicarb. Just mix a little with water to make a paste.

Toothpaste Kingfisher fluoride-free, animal friendly one - not cheap though
    Mouth Wash Don't use
Shampoo and Conditioner Co-op own - animal friendly. Only use conditioner for wet-combing with a nit comb (I have children!)
Hard Soap Don't really use - I use liquid soap from Superdrug (animal friendly again)
Roll on Deodrant I've got various types in various stages of use, but I try to buy animal-friendly ones
Tampons amd Pantyliners I've got a mooncup, but get pads etc for DD1 - try and get ones on offer
Moisturiser ( day and night ) I use Simple
    Eye Cream Don't use
Face Wipes Don't use. I don't even cleanse :o I just use plain water when I'm showering (which I do every day!) then moisturise straight after
Face Scrub Don't use. Don't use face packs either. I developed a sensitivity to using them a few years ago
    Bubble Bath Don't use
Shower Gel I have been using Original Source which I got on special offer from Superdrug

I do use handcream too - Superdrug Hand Therapy. My hands were in a really bad state recently, but I realised it was because of the Co-op own washing up liquid. Now I've gone back to Clearspring my hands have thanked me for it, and I don't have to use as much hand cream!

I'd love to have a go at making my own soap, but I haven't got anywhere to store it while it 'matures'.

I did buy mouthwash a few years ago, but my DH said it took the inside lining off his mouth  so I stopped buying it. It did seem a bit harsh I must admit.

Toothpaste- Wilco sensitive (OH has sensitive teeth) but Mr S has one for about 19p I think which was fine
Mouth Wash- Wilco. Not as nice as listerine but cheaper
Shampoo and Conditioner -Lush solid shampoo, can also use this for shower/body wash, lasts for ages. Use cheapie intensive conditioner which is thicker (alberto balsaam, tressemme when 2 for 1), can water down for everyday use.
Hard Soap- Lush again, but also get a big bottle of cheapie creme bath & decant into soap dispenser. Same stuff.
Roll on Deodrant- I'm allergic to everything but OH gets Dove from Wilco
Tampons amd Pantyliners- Cheapie from Asda/wilco. If you're allergic you can get money off from lil-lets website at the mo.
Moisturiser ( day and night )- day, baby lotion, nice and mild, at night E45 or similar own brand. I do the oil cleansing method so rarely need moisturiser now. (and I had TERRIBLE skin, spots and excema!)
    Eye Cream- don't use
Face Wipes- boots cucumber 3 for 2, nicer than wilco and Lidl
Face Scrub- I use a flannel/muslin cloth instead.
    Bubble Bath- don't use
Shower Gel-again I use Lush soap, lasts longer and kinder to my skin. I also use their body conditioner bars in the shower instead of moisturiser.

Intensive conditioner -use coconut oil and pop on a towel (works better keeping the head warm) and leave for 20 mins. Wash out. Lovely soft hair.
Same for hands/feet, pop on gloves/socks overnight.
