How do VI's know 'the bottom is approaching' ?

    Maybe the VI's are like the authorities in Thelma & Louise, when they had them cornered just before the end.

    Everyone has a Vested Interest.

    Those that STR have a Vested interest in prices falling

    Those that have property as an investment want prices to rise.

    Those that are renting want rents and prices down

    Those that are BTL LL's want rents and yields to rise

    Those that want a holiday want air fares, hotels etc to be cheaper while the pound to be stronger

    Everyone has a Vested Interest, it just depends where your interest lies
