    Hi All

Havent posted on here in a while but have been reading. Hope you are all well and ((((((hugs)))))) to all who need them.

Some big changes in our house, we got a little rescue doggie, hes called Muttley and is 4. He is a little terrier cross and is my baby. Has been the best thing that has happened, he has got me up and about and is great company with DH is at work.

Things moving on quickly with my arthritis too, I am currently learning to self inject as taking the meds in tablet form made me so ill. So far so good..................although today will be the first time I actually do it in the house on my own and so far I keep chickening out! :rotfl: I know its needs to be done but I hate it and just dont seem to be able to pick it up and do it. One plus is that instead of doing it I have hoovered the whole house, load number 3 just out of the WM and have cleaned the floors! Trying to pretend to myself that I havent had time!

Am thinking of going back to work at the end of the month, having been off since the end of October this is a biggy and Im so scared that I wont be able to cope but I think I just have to bite the bullet so to speak and do it! Right??

Ok onto some OS.................Muttley has had a few little accidents in the house, thankfully only a little pee and always in the kitchen when we arent here. Can any one suggest anything that I could maybe mix into a spray bottle to clean it? So far I have been cleaning the whole floor when he has done it but this meant that yesterday I washed the kitchen floor 4 times!

Hope you all have a lovely day
    Linz xoxox
Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!

Lot of people MIA to-day, don't usually get on first page at this time.

No rain here (yet) cloudy but not really all that cold so keeping my fingers crossed that it stays dry.

Fish and chips with broad beans and peas for dinner here, meeting a cousin for a late lunch so probably won't be hungry at dinner time but then I am almost always hungry.

DD4 has 'booked' wm for the day as her washing fell behind while she was doing exams etc so gives me a good excuse to leave my dirty washing where it belongs! She is blitzing her room and DGSs at present....she normally has him do his own under her supervision but must be feeling generous today!

Cats are going mad at present...they go out if anyone opens back door, but like to come in almost immediately...this minute they are tearing up and down in a race that nobody seems to win...when they get fed up they will eat and then sleep for a while, then the whole circus starts again...very amusing to watch.

Have been checking and redoing my budget and think that some cutbacks will have to be made...think that the food has gone as far as it can except for reduction with home grown stuff coming on stream....manage to have some veg every day out of the garden so that is a bit saved. Some of our income is US related and has lost value recently against the euro....we will survive but need to be a bit more thoughtful.

Hugs to all in need or want, congratulations to all who are celebrating, good luck to all doing exams.

    Afternoon all,

Cloudy but dry here at the moment, hope it lasts. Not that I can get any washing done as my washer has decided to pack in again. Luckily covered under extended warranty but repairman cannot come until Friday p.m. so hand washing necessities for the time being. Our extended warranties have been a godsend in the past 3 months as all our major applicances have packed in at various times.

So I am being very OS today, handwashing etc:rotfl: I am at work at the mo, just having a quick lunch break, but before I set off this morning put a gammon joint in sc, prepared pans of new pots and cabbage so should be a fairly easy afternoon when I get in, just dog to walk and feed and floors etc to sweep and wipe of course! Then might get in the garden for an hour or two before rest of family arrive home, need to do a bit of weeding - this weather is not only making my plants go mad but the weeds spring up from nowhere to knee high in a day (or so it seems)

Diva - I do hope you get some relief tomorrow (((Hugs)))
Loopy - I really feel for you with the injections, my dear friend has to do the same for her arthritis once a week and found it quite an ordeal to start with but has been doing it now for about a year and is quite used to it now. (((Hugs)))
    Cranky - what awful news!
Lesley - just caught up with the picture - she looks lovely!
Ruthibe - I hope things improve for you, you certainly have had it tough so far this year (((Hugs)))

Right must get back to work.

    Have a good day all

    xxx

I've been busy all day and thought I'd get some peace in the garden with my laptop but a cruise ship is just leaving the bay and they are being bid farewell with bagpipes.

Managed to get alot done today in preparation for visitors and the party at the weekend. Cleared out the fridge and made some room in the freezer, made macaroni cheese and salad for tea, cleaned out and hoovered the inside of the car, painted the front wall and gate posts, did 2 months worth of recycling and picked up a hired carpet shampooer. :D

The weather is still lovely. Sunny but a cool breeze so not too hot. I think rain is forecast for the weekend though.

Sorry to hear all your bad news Ruthie. x
How awful for the parents of the little boy Cranky. Hope you aren't missing your OH too much.
Your picture of your DD was lovely yesterday Lesley.
Sorry you are stil in pain Diva.
    Aussie.... :kisses3:
    Tru... I'm waiting. :p

    Take care everyone

    Good afternoon,

Thank you all for your kind words. I know I'm lucky to have my ds as I had to have fertility treatment. This week, seeing him running around in front of me healthy and happy I feel luckier still, IYKWIM.

I've been to work today, but managed to sort out the freezer after work and before I had to go and pick ds up. DH has been on cooking duty lately, and I had no idea what was in there. Also, things were mixed up. Everything is back in it's proper drawer now, and I know what I have to eat or cook with. I sorted out the kitchen food cupboards last night and put everything back where it belongs too.

I'm not missing dh too much yet Haribo. My house is tidy, I have the bed to myself and there is no snoring from the person who absolutely refuses to take hayfever medicine!

    Take care all of you.

    Tru... I'm waiting. :p

Not got much to say really :o  :D

I've been cooking up a storm and have filled the freezers and cake tins, and made about 45,000 pints of laundry gloop :D I've been messing about with my blog and have changed the name - I realised today that no-one will be able to find me, I assumed if someone went to the old name, they'd be re-directed but it doesn't work like that

Harry-chick comes in every night at about 9pm, flies up onto the draining board, sits there for a couple of minutes then trundles back into the garden and puts herself to bed. Penny loves to chase birds but is terrified of gulls. Mogs couldn't care less about anything, as long as she can mooch about then she's happy. And she sings a lot :rotfl:
