I have reserved a knex tower until tomorrow, but it is in Kensington - anyone around there to do a pickup for Stumpy?

  • Hi Stumpy,

Hubby bought the knex tower the other day - still sitting at the corner of the room....

I just measured it, it comes in a outter cardboard box, it measures 21 x 37 x 72 (cm) and weights 7.2 kg.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks - that's really nice, but I've already had a kind offer from someone else, who can pick up and post for me - sorry - should have mentioned sooner :o

Thanks as well to those who've posted new RO numbers not on the Argos website - that "pram" is a weird one, as its still showing on their site as £29 ish. I wonder if they were selling a previous version, on the same code number, at that lower price?

Ms Sunshine - did your hubby buy from Argos? Did he get the free add-on pack it mentions on their site (it says it comes with a free 15 model tub)?
  • Does anyone reckon the price might drop a little lower on this Sylvanian thingy 353/1466 or is the general opinion that prices are as low as they'll go? I've had one on reserve a few days in the hope that it might (£45 is pushing it for a dolly house!) The suspense of reserving the wretched thing every night before someone beats me to it is starting to strain..... ;)

Yes it comes with the free model tub. The outter cardboard box has 2 items in it: the Knex tower box and the model tub

I reckon there are another two chances for the prices to possibly drop. The first is someone mentioned earlier that more stock was arriving next week, at which point they were going to update the website - they may change the prices then. The other time is when the online "sale" ends - if you look at the ex-catalogue stuff online, it reckons it will end 1 March - so they may either "extend" the sale online and reduce prices, extend the sale online and leave prices as they are, or go back to the "old-fashioned" RO lists, where they may change the prices again. All a bit of a guessing game. But if you could get them to extend your reservation for a few days, at least it may cover the first possibility!!
