Just come back from Argos with several presents for next year's Xmas (thankfully daughter is too young to realise what is last year's range, lol.)

Anyway, 1 item I had reserved had been cancelled (they've no idea why...it was only a cluedo game) and some of the other stuff I had reserved was sitting out on the shelf able to be picked up by anyone. I was at the store a little after opening this morning, but if I'd left it any later, my 'reserved' items could have been bought by anyone else. They confirmed there were no more in stock room. Not overly impressed.

Quite a lot of bashed boxes too.

Definately not as good as last time.

    512 8169 Alba Personal cassette player - 74p

(Obviously not top of the range stuff, lol, but great for young kids at that price)

372 5935 Air hogs 'Sky Winder' radio controlled plane £19.99 down from £79.99

(Think this might be the same one that was around from the last time?)

    353 1992 Barbie Electronic Balance Game - £ 7.49 down from £29.99

(Daughter wanted this but didn't stand a chance at full price, lol.)

670 0469 Sony micro cassette (dictation?) machine £14.99 down from £59.99

534 3755 Hitachi OFC Scart cable £6.24 down from £24.99

Everything else I saw was not reduced by as much.

Hey Aliasojo!!! Nothing wrong with the Cluedo game ;););) Mind you in saying that I did pick one up this morning and it did come from the shopfloor.....certainly is a clearance sale !!!

Picked up a some bits and pieces for my daughter (1 in the summer) so a couple of birthday and christmas pressies sorted.
What should I put in here that won't upset people.........

I know there's nothing wrong with it.....that's why I wanted it, lol. :)

I just meant it wasn't the sought after electrical type of thing that was available during the last RO sale. Many items that were reserved seemed to continually get the reservations cancelled by staff last time around.

Please tell me you didn't get it from the Eastgate in Inverness?!!!!

One for me and one for ebay

The whole idea of the board is to help each other find items - not to get extra to sell on EBAY!! - you could offer to sell it to someone on this board who is after one
