do i see what the items in the Wrexham store are?
Quite interested in a few bits and bobs but need to check style sizes of some things first.
Also live near to Wrexham so any help is greatly appreciated.0 -

You have a few options - the most likely way to see what an item looks like, is to reserve it, then go and ask to see it before you pay.
The other possibilities are to either have a look on the argos website - they do still have some RO items online (although it states on their website only until end of today (26th) - don't know if they'll extend that deadline), or go to this site (https://www.netshoppinguk.co.uk/argos-shopping/???????) where the question marks are replaced with the 7 digit code you want to look at. Neither of these options have a high rate of success - but you could get lucky!0 -
I've found that going to the store on a Sunday morning is best, especially as no sane person is out shopping until about lunch time
. I find that the staff (well most of them) have more time for you, and are more willing to do customer views on RO. If you go in there and it's busy, just ask for an old catalogue and usually they will loan one to you, as long as you give it back!
Even though the clearance items link has been removed from the website, the items are still there, and they are still at the reduced price. If you find my post helpful please press the THANKS button.0 -
I have only just registered but have been browsing the forum for about a year. I had already tried the argos website and the netshopping one so I guess the only way is to go to the store, Thanks0

received an email from Argos about their 6 days sale http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ArgosPromoViewSix?langId=-1&storeId=10001&pageName=May05Deals&tag=HP1_1c
there is 4.5'' portable dvd player for £49.99 and 4 mp olympus digital camera for £84.99
The prices are not as good as the RO ones so am not tempted to but them myself.0 -
Just to let you know I've updated the lists and website again - trying to give the illusion of being organised (and probably failing miserably!). Hopefully I will get the chance to add a pile of stuff in the next few days, so keep checking back!! :rolleyes:0

Glad you like it - I'm never sure when I start fiddling if I'm making things worse!! Not sure if I may have another fiddle shortly - the argos "sections" were rather weird (electronics and appliances are a bit difficult to work out, so may combine those)
