I didn't notice anything different about the ring and reserve - apart from it actually letting me know about this item - a few RO items in the past its just refused to acknowledge, like that Beko TV.

Chris is gone, although that's a good thing. I noticed that it only lets you check 2 stores then asks you if you want to check any more. You get another 2 checks at other stores then it prompts you to return to the main menu. Before you could have kept entering store numbers. She talks alot as well... but then..... she's a woman......

Managed to find a PDA further afield - didn't seem to encounter anything different from normal on the ring and reserve - checked for the same item at at least 4 different stores one after another and didn't have any problems. Wonder if I've somehow managed to get through to the old system? I used the telestunt number.

Now I've just got to work out how to pick this flaming PDA up - no chance I can ring the store and arrange home delivery?

I'm caliing from work so I just dial the 0870 number. One good thing is you're told the price of the item straight away.

I've just updated the website again. Decided to turn all the pages on their heads (just to keep everyone on their toes!!) - thought it made sense to put the newest additions at the top of the lists, so you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom.

And after how many months? I've just realised that, if it doesn't show the update straight away, you need to refresh your browser. Doh. I've been uploading new pages, having a look online and then thinking it hadn't worked, cos the browser was showing the old page. What a fool!!

I was in Argos this afternoon and overheard the assistant saying that there is a new spring offer flyer out tomorrow morning!

Argos must have updated whats on their ring and reserve service. I tried to find a few things previously on it and they were just coming up as not recognised - I've just had another go now and its now recognising them - including that 14" Beko TV. Hurray! Makes things a little easier (on the legs, if not the wallet!!) :j
