ricflairandy - If you're interested in the pool table, they have 4 in Wrexham, and I think there are more available in the North West of England as I'm pretty sure the Chester stores also have them.

Oooo I definitley know I passed the honour on Aliasojo, a few times... to just about everybody in fact, cos im not very into jabby tree thingys! I think Dolphinl was the last person I passed it onto for getting me that bargain petrol mower... Was gonna use it last weekend, then found it had something missing..... Petrol! it needs it apperently, so i need to buy a petrol can and some petrol now, dont spose argos do that? The bargains are definitley no where near what they were b4 I agree, the only thing sounded good was them cheap Beko portables and I was too slow to get one, not that i am complaining, got the cheapy barbeque to look forward to unboxing... bet I got to go n buy a gas bottle for that tho AGHHHHHH
Nope.... Still cant think of owt interesting to put here.

Edinburghlass, when did you get your capital E? Or have you always had it? You just look different!

Hubby used the Black and Decker Lawnraker today - brilliant!! Well worth the £15. Need to keep an eye out for any more of these. FIL is interested in one.

    Congrats from me too!!!

My hubby (all 6ft 4in of him) used ours the other day - was excellent, although the handle was a little short for him. Obviously made for those of us who are somewhat vertically challenged. ;)

He found the trigger to be a bit weird - had to press it down, press the safety switch and then pull it up - is that how it works on yours?

I just decided at my age it was time to grow up :o

Actually I had a brief, three minutes or so of glory on Saturday night when Andrea offered, as a perk to Board Guides, that we could change our names!

Well my choice was MSE Martini with 10,000 posts and for a few brief moments MSE Andrea changed me to just that. Unfortunately it was such a brief moment that I didn't even have time to print the post out :p

However, she wouldn't let me change from edinburghlass and as glad got changed to Glad today, no show without punch, I had to have the same :rotfl::rotfl:

Congrats Edinburghlass:j I miss our wee bargain hunting gang on hear. Are we all still hanging on in there in the vain hope there'll be anything as good as it was before Xmas or have we started to give up hope????
Just as well there's so many non-argos bargains to be had:D

    Congrats Edinburghlass !

I only found this site due to the first, or should that be, original? bargains. I was too late for the big stuff but ended up with very happy kids at Christmas ;)
followed closely ( too closely? , nope not this year) by happy kids on their birthdays :j
so, a great BIG thanks to everyone who kept this thread going :T
