Offers you've noticed in-store

I don't know if anything's ever been posted like this but the other day I was walking around Co-Op and I saw some of their offers and I thought, "Wow, I wish I could tell people at MSE." So I thought, why not post a thread doing just that?

My idea is that, if you see a great bargain in your supermarket, then you post it here. You don't have to say what area supermarket you saw it in, as I guess all the big chains would have similar offers, thus retaining your privacy.

An example would be:

"I saw that Co-Op has bogof on lager."

What do you think?

Yep and if you read the rules it's not for supermarket offers.

They need to be posted in Food Shopping & Groceries>

I think a thread for the stores not on mysupermarket would be useful - I know the Co-op for one can often match/beat the big 4 on offers.

For example - Co-op have Mini Cheddars 7+3free (ie 10)packs for £1 right now (and if you're lucky you may find the odd 7+7free pack lurking at the back of the shelf from the previous promotion :D). The best the big 4 can do is 7 for £1.

    :)

yes this is a good idea as I only hace a Co-op and they sometimes have good offers it's easier if I know what they are before I go.

The big four supermarkets, Sainsbury, Tesco, Asda and Waitrose, as well as Co-Op list all their current offers on their respective web sites in detail, so I would always advise using them as the best source.

You may have to go in to their online shopping sections, but the offers are the same as in store. You can do various things like search for products or browse categories, and they all list their offers clearly. You'll also find details on how long the offer is running.

However, there are some very good offers in other stores that don't seem to advertise their offers anywhere. M&S foodhall, as well as some smaller chains of convenience stores. I think it would be most useful if we could fill in the blanks on these rather than cover the stores that already list their offers online. Maybe even have threads for each store?
