I only posted it as the very high interest rate of Provident Loans was mentioned on this thread.
Frankly, I don't give a hoot.
The thing is, that many people don't clear their statement balance every month.
Clearly, it works for you.
I started many years ago with MBNA and a tiny credit limit. At least their rates aren't/weren't as ludicrous as Vanquis.0 -
When I got my Student Barclaycard (signed up to get a free inflatable chair :rotfl: ) my starting interest rate was something silly like 26%
It's all about risk, although I do think some interest rates are going waaaay OTT (like those loans that boast the rates of 117%)0 -
I cant remeber the company...but just before christmas I recieved one for 56.9% (typical) FLAT RATE Card!!!!!!
If you don't ask, you don't find out!0 -

Unfortunately MBNA do not entertain applications from any 'sub prime' applicants. Therefore their risk is not as high, and neither their interest rates.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
Understood, though I didn't even have a job at the time of applying.0
