I think we are assuming the claim is a paypal chargeback not an ebay resolution system complaint.
Thanks, I just checked the paypal conditions and have now included these in my earlier post.

Hold on so let me get this right, Signed for international does not track beyond the UK shores and so the RM tracking info will not update further than saying passed onto India. Also as per recorded post the RM info will not update with a copy of customers sig.

So even if it does arrive theres no proof and the customer isn't going to update the complaint is he, he's going to sit tight with the item and wait for paypal to give him his money back.

So in otherwords I have more hope of having tea and biscuits one Sunday afternoon with god than I do of getting proof of delivery and my money returned.

Infact all I see that I can do is wait 25 days from postage date and file a claim for loss ( if the item hasn't been returned to me ), which at this point RM will then try and obtain a copy of the customers sig and if they do it will be far to late for my paypal claim and if they don't I'll get £39 back from the insurance ...

It is advisable to always use a courier for international delivery as this method usually does provide fully tracked door to door service unlike royal mail.

I know this advice is too late for the op but for others reading...........
  • Have you tried to tack on the India mail site (if they have one)?

I'e often done this for European deliveries.
