I signed up to PO Home Phone and soon need to find a new broadband ISP. Can any1 advise if I take A broadband with telephone calls will I have to go back to BT to get the best broadband deals? When I signed up to PO it said that broadband would not be affected. Any recommendations for light to medium user?

Did you manage to get your MAC key then? Not sure if i have understood you correctly but my preference was not to go for a broadband/phone bundle. I'd rather disassociate the two and look for the best deals separately.cheghead wrote:I signed up to PO Home Phone and soon need to find a new broadband ISP. Hi sloughflint
still no mac code. gonna call them 2morrow and give them s***!
tt really are crap.
question was about getting broadband without a telephone bundle. Probably gonna go for AOL or madasafish (still haven't worked out how much I use/month but sure its less than 5gb). Was gonna switch to Telewest but my house number is the only one in my street that is not wired for it.
Cambelt gone in my car today so really not 'aving a good day...grrr!0 -
Hi,
I have recently switched from Wanadoo to V21. Now paying £11.99 per month.
No problem switching, got my MAC code from Wanadoo. Great value for broadband.

PS that price does not require you to take a phone service with them (only £9.99 if you do).:beer:0 -

Hi peter, the "fair usage" is about 20gb according to many users on the adslguide discussion forums. There are very few people who download more than that.
Also I just signed my parents up to ukonline. I did it over the phone and they offered me 2 months free and a free netgear wireless router which I have now received and it is the super 108g adsl 2+ router! They don't advertise this on their website so if you are thinking of using ukonline then call up to see if they can offer you this.0 -

Went to UKonline site but when i put my phone number in they say that it is not a bt line so cheapest they can offer is £19.99.
Think i might have to go back to bt from PO home phone as only causing me trouble!!!0
