I know this is a question you have probably answered before but i just can't find the answer anywhere!
I'm staying with my dad for a couple of weeks at the moment, and have just found out he has a 10 gb download limit. Aaaah!! Is this terrible, will i have run up a giant bill!?
Sorry we've always had unlimited use at university so I'm not really sure of the implications. Although I do not physically download (as in store) i do stream an awful lot! As my dad hates tv, i have been watching all my programmes on iplayer, 4OD etc over the last week.
How much can i get away with on a 10 gb? I really have no idea how to quantify this, ( is that the right word!) Is there a way to see how much I have already used. He's on broadband option one.
Many thanks and sorry bout the long post

HI there, if you assume that watching 1hr of streamed TV takes up about 300MB then with 10GB allowance you can watch over 33 hours...
even if it was 500MB per hour that's still 20 hours worth so I'm guessing you are OK?0
