they then viewed it 4-5 more times (whenever they were in the area)
Is this normal behaviour by prospective buyers?
As you may recall me n the fiancee are looking, and have got a shortlist of three possibles... so are considering a second viewing on them all on the same day to check that my lovely spreadsheet is accurate. After this we would probably be in a position to put an offer in on one of them, but I can only think of possibly going back once more close to exchange or completion, to check that they haven't wrecked the place!

Surely it's inconsiderate to keep going back, or was the guy just reminding you that he was interested?

I'm imagining having to tidy our house 70 times

I really am staggered by the amounts of viewings and I really think that the viewers may NOT have been vetted properly. I know many agenst don't vet as they like to get more through the door which I think is a waste of time.

Probably not ... but I was their dream lifestyle change, their escape to the country lifestyle dream.

They were on holiday in the area every spare moment they could - and simply couldn't resist contacting the EA each time to see if I'd let them view it (again). I said "no" quite a few times in frustration to be honest.

Once it was agreed they'd buy it, they came round again with a camera and measure and spent 1-2 hours photographing/measuring.

Never saw them again - contracts exchanged/completed, I dropped the keys off at the EA.

It used to take me 2 hours. A short viewing would take 45 minutes, I had a lot of rooms/space.
