    Hey all

Not much for me today. Have checked banking, done scratch and clicks and been replying to lots of messages on bigwardrobe - agreed my first swap yesterday. Lunch today is yesterday's leftovers and am hoping to get tonight's dinner from leftovers as well. Need to pop into the poundshop after work to hopefully pick up some cheap jiffy envelopes for posting some book sales and my clothes swap. MUST to job application tonight as deadline is Weds.

That's it for me. Hope everyone has a productive day.

    Hello all!

Had an expensive but productive day today.
Noticed that the car's front two tyres were almost bald (ooops!) and had to get them changed - its a company financed car but I have to pay the running costs etc. I managed to ring around and get the price down from £110 a tyre to £92 each - still very expensive (its a BMW with run flat tyres whatever they are!) but better at least.

I'm giving up the car in a couple of months when i give up work and will also give up the car allowance that pays for it so have been to BMW and managed to find out with a bit of haggling and being obstinate that I won't have to pay the early redemption/settlement fee of £2300:eek: but by invoking the termination clause (that they don't tell you about) I have to pay just £90 instead:T:T

    Also today...
    • checked banking - no surprises
    • tea from what's in
    • washing drying on airer
    • walked dog twice for free exercise - once more to go
    • used free phone calls at home
    • sort out pile of mail and bills
    • make packed lunch for tomorrow
    • stick to diet:o
    • go to family planning appointment to make sure we dn't have any little surprises before the wedding!
    • stay in and watch the soaps
That's it for today - hope you're all feeling better?
    January grocery spending - £82.73/ £120
