Told to break speed limit by my boss!!

No I am not riled I am just pointing out that just cause your boss told you do something stupid as well as illegal would you really do it?
Speed limits are for a reason, we all probably own up to speeding on a road but in a heavy HGV in a built up area where you have even less chance of stoppin to avoid running someone over would you?

My hubby is sat next to me and has over 10 years of HGV experience of all size and sort of large vechicle and is also a driver assesor is having a great time laughing at this post.

I think he means - as the boss isn't there - he will not know what other vehicles were on the road thereby preventing him from breaking the speed limit.

ie if the vehicle in front is driving at the speed limit, then so must the OP. Unless he ovetakes, which it was not safe to do.

However, none of this is relevant...the OP wants to use the recording against his boss. Thus, he needs to know who to tell.

Until a crime is committed, I don't think he can tell anyone.

My boss told me to get rid of the wife.I did what he said happy as Larry now.
Didn't like it when he told me to jump out of the window 10 floors up.. bloody hurt.

The OP may be the breadwinner for his family with bills to pay and some people can be intimidated, he may also be worrying about his job as he has only been there two months and could quiet easily be laid off.

It is an awkward situation to be in, the OP will not speed but his boss can make his life difficult not all people have job security and work for larger companies written procedures covering ever aspect of the job.

oh and my boss did tell me to jump of a cliff and I gladly did when absailing
