Sky TV/Broadband/Phone - Line rental?

Hi

I am moving into a new property shortly, and am looking to get a Sky TV deal with phone and broadband included.

The flat doesn't have a phone line yet so I will need to get one installed. I am aware that BT charge about £150 for installation, which I would like to avoid.

Does anybody know whether Sky can install a phone line and if so, roughly how much it costs?

Thanks in advance

  • The charge is £122.50 from BT.

I believe you must have an active BT line before Sky will take it over.

I'm in the same situation. If you want Sky, they will install the line for you for a £30 charge but you do have to take out a package with them. If you ring BT and tell them you're going with Sky for your line rental, they will refuse to install the line and tell you to get Sky to do it.
