Orange broadband - am i being ripped off?

I have had orange broadband for 2 years and have decided to cancel, only to be told that since january this year there is now a £25 cancellation fee. They said that they have emailed my orange account to tell me this and i had 30 days to make a complaint and if i did so i would not be charged but due to me never accessing my account as i have another email account i never knew and now have to pay the fine? Is this fair??? can they invent charges that you didnt agree to in your contract and make you pay them???

Have you cancelled by getting a MAC code to migrate to another supplier, or are you trying to cancel your broadband completely? No free lunch, and no free laptop0
