Competition Scams - Please Post Them Here

So Just received a phonecall from someone saying he was from the '12 Lottery'. Apparently I entered a competition for an Ipad 3 (which is more than likely at some stage), and I had now been put forward to the next stage (?).

The bloke then went on for around 5 minutes talking about the '12 Lottery' (can't find anything on google about it) and how I could have a years worth of lottery tickets for free, but first I had to have an ID check which required me to submit my credit or debit card details...at which point I made it quite clear that wasn't going to happen. Then the guy hung up.

Emists Facebook iPad comp looks iffy.. http://www.facebook.com/pages/E-Mists/236513816495522

The number on their website leads to a PPI claims company here http://ppiclaimshelp.org/

Both use [URL="telto:0800%20054%202007"]0800 054 2007[/URL] and both gave it top o their sites http://e-mists.co.uk/ uses it

It's possible people could spend money here...which could be dodgier than trying to win a fictionaal iPad.

Unfortunately due to Facebook rules the last competition was void as pointed out by many users.

Therefore our competition will return next week under exact rules set out by Facebook. Thank you.

They are now saying, to enter the competition you need to make a purchase. I will unlike the page as they were trying it on, they never had 5 to give away and I doubt the first winner was genuine. I did think it funny that they never acknowledged their win the page. I was going to report the page but they have deleted all the old posts concerning the competition!

End date kept changing posted as extended to 15th April but comp tab says 10th April no winner announced...

they had about 2000 likes last time I looked and they now have over 15000

They stopped the last comp because they said it broke facebook rules but they are now back with another one

When you follow the link it tells you that you MUST fill in one survey. If you give them your details, you will be authorising them to send you texts at a cost of £1.50 per text. JUST DON'T DO IT.
