Well that is a massive surprise, I bet the weather in Scotland is often better than Bournmouth

i have about 10 plants all mm and gd, but none are doing well in the greenhouse, the yellow flowers just die, no toms growing at all. Don't know why cos cucs next to them are growing well in the same type of containers and compost with the same watering! 1st year growing anything so really gutted with the toms but will try again next year.

oh no! What a shame - some of my previously healthy plants are looking a bit ropey at the moment, especially the gardeners delight which are normally fab, and I am concerned it could be something ominous!

Are no toms setting at all? (soetimes it is very hard to see them when they are tiny) How do your plants look in general? Are you checking the compost to see if it is just damp, not overly wet or dried out?

    I'm growing

    Ponderosa Orange, a round tomato
    Napoli, a plum tomato
    Brandywine Pink, a beefsteak tomato
Yellow pear, a pear shape cherry tomato

In the greenhouse, I'm growing a redcurrant tomato that is really tiny. The toms are the size of peas:D

Much larger than a potato leaf, also spikey on the thick stems and back of leaf.
Also some white on the leaf.

atticgirl, not being disrespectful but are you sure its a tomato plant as it sounds more like a courgette or cucumber stem/leaf

Wait and see what the fruit looks like :rotfl:

Sounds like a courgette type plant to me as well, maybe the seeds got mixed up :p
