Afternoon lovelies
I did start this in the morning but as usual I have too much to say!!!
I slept reasonably well - I think I am still on hosptal times though as I am waking up at 6.30!
My first carer came at 10.45 and she was nice - I have had a shower and got dressed and there is a washing going at the moment. She made my lunch which I am about to have. She told me how thing work - She would be nice to have regularly but she is off on holiday next week so it might not be her. Apparently I am having a bloke at tea-time.
pigpen awh poor wee Hazel - what a mess - she must have been in such shock and pain -I cried when i saw what they have done to her so goodness knows how your Lo's are feeling - huge hugs for you all- the scum-bags should be hung drawn and quartered, boiled in oil, and given to a pack of hungry dogs for lunch. some people are so sick getting enjoyment out of torturing a poor innocent creature. I know Hazel will gets loads of love and kindness with you all and I will be praying that she heals quickly and is soon back to her naughty self.
Lady-L Hi honey I am here and plodding on! I have to agree with you about the visualisation - it does give you a calming warm feel - it has a lovely effect - but as for you having used up your quota - RUBBISH!!!!!!! I second third and fourth what AnW's Mum said - there's lots more for you (and anyone that needs them)yet!
Lilysue thats dreadful that they havent responded - make sure its a good strong complaint letter and keep nagging- could the school / education authority help? (((hugs)))
jjef and dusty I am in your gang - I dont think I will ever do a whole week!!! even more so now I feel a right fraud being on here when I can barely do anything!
lil_me oh no not the wasps again - hope the pest man gets the queen this time. Hope the school fair went ok and wasnt tooooo much of a nightmare!
kazm hi and how are you? Whats happening with Dh's job?
Spirit hope you are organised for your holiday - where are you going? Hope you have a fabulous time.
pigpen OMG what next for you all - poor DD and her friend getting involved in something so horrible - well done to her and her friend for doing the right thing - it shows they have been well brought up! I hope the poor lad makes a good recovery and they deal with the scum that did it.
SGT I am impressed - your list is definately shrinking - only 18 more get-ups - how exciting and a bit scary i expect!! I hope the freecyclers all turn up as arranged and you get rid of all the stuff you want to. Good luck with the decorating - sounds like you have a busy week ahead.skintscotslass wrote: »Rubbish! You are just as lovely face to face as you are on line:D;)
AnW'sMum yes miss I am being goodish! Hope you and W have a lovely day/evening.
AuntyCrafty its a bit damp and grey here too - I was hoping it would be nice enough to sit out for a wee while. And yes you can apply babysteps to everything - steady progress will get you through stuff much quicker and more thoroughly. Good luck with the studying.now need to get my act together if I'm going to have the place looking habitable by the time my parents arrive tomorrow.
I also need to 1. fill in my own self-assessment form for next week's selection pools; 2. make sure my IPC is up to date in case my boss remembers that he wants to see it and actually bother to do my Q1 rating 3. make sure my team's IPCs are all up to date 4. review the team's assessment forms and provide feedback 5. fill in my skills assessment for each of my team members 6. update my CV and post all over the internet 7. review and comment on the CVs my team have sent me...
oh yes... and go shopping, mow the lawns, tidy the garden, do some walking and go to yoga/pilates/swimming (preferably all three!)
Greenbee I thought you had a plan for getting stuff done this weekend - thats an enormous amount of work - and I mean just the paperwork stuff never mind the house! You need to re-prioritise the work stuff - your own paperwork/assesment/cv things MUST be done and some tidying in the house and garden if weather permits then the stuff for your team IMHO. rather than get bogged down doing endless hours of CV's etc could you set your timer and do say 30 mins then go and do somehousework for 30 mins - hopefully then you will be refreshes for each different job?
And I am quite sure your parents will not be minding if the house is a bit untidy! They are coming to see YOU.
boddy I am glad your Mum is enjoying having DD around- that is a real bonus. As for the work thing - be on your guard and dont be a scapegoat - I do hope they are not that horrible to try something nasty like that - good thing you are on the ball (((hugs)))
Siannie Nice to meet you too - No, I am not special- this lot just get a bit carried away!!!! I am sorry to read about your Gran - it must feel very strange in her house without her but you know she is safer where she is now - I hope she is happy there and knows you when you visit her. Good luck with the cramming for Monday _ I am sure you will be fine, it will just be pre-exam nerves!!!!
will be pottering a little this afternoon - need to think whats for tea before the next person arrives - I will have to meal plan a bit more:eek::eek: and I need to do an online shopping for a quick delivery i think.
off for lunch - catch you all later.
Hope everyone is having a good day.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Helllooooooo! I've had a very busy morning, been out with DH this morning calling on people, and I've done 3, 000 steps already! Yay! It took me a whole day to do that on Wed and Thurs! :j
Another customer has phoned up for DH, yay! Sounds like a big job! I'm so glad we decided to advertise in the Thomson Directory, it has more than paid for itself already and it's only been in a few weeks. We've got the rest of the year to go yet!
LOL, I was watching out for my neighbour to come home and she came home and I rushed out, leaving my sandwich on the sofa. Then I came back in and sat on it! Now I have a lovely smear of Philadelphia cheese on my bum! Idiot! I’d been meaning to talk to her for ages as her husband has been ill (tubes out of his nose etc) and I’ve seen her struggling home with shopping and wanted to help. He’s got cancer, but is doing well apparently. It seems silly that she should struggle with heavy bags when I've got the car and strong arms! Hopefully I might be able to help out in other ways too.
Soappie, I saw the news reports about the youths that killed the fawn, really disgusting people in my opinion. The fawn was only two days old. I hope they catch them, as who knows what they will decide to do next
LilySue I hope your boy gets his laptop soon, sounds like he needs one
Pigpen, you never know how much DD1 finding the knife and giving a statement may help catch the people who hurt the boy – good for her for reporting it :T
Kazm, I was really annoyed that the flat inspection didn’t happen, but was even more annoyed that when I phoned they didn’t apologise and made it sound like it was my fault! They seemed to think that I should have magically known that they’d cancelled.
PenPen how could you torture me by mentioning things like chocolate amaretto cake. It sounds so yum. Can you post a picture, actually, you’d better not my drool might break the laptop
Greenbee, you are such a caring manager. Most mgrs that I’ve met wouldn’t care less about whether their team get new jobs or not
I've given up with the bedroom this week. I will do this weeks list on Monday if it's not the bedroom day officially. This weekend I should manage to do washing up, washing and the bathroom, but apart from that it's the weekend and I don't want to do huge amounts of work!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Toots don't for a minute think you shouldn't be here. You are much loved as you know and were much missed as is evidenced by the comments of the newbies...
it's brilliant to have you back.
Pigpen - hope you're keeping your head down!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

One load of washing on the line. Another one about to go in. I need to decide whether to brave going into town as I need to go to the health food shop... actually... I don't really have a choice - I just wish I'd got up earlier and gone in while the carpark was likely to be quieter!
Oh well... I'll go to the farm shop on the way back as well. I might even drop in at the tip on the way!0 -
Pigpen - hope you're keeping your head down!

Rosepink_I really hope that you realise how far you have come since you joined the flying thread. I can remember how you panicked when you needed to post a letter or getting some shopping and now you are offering help to others :t :T Hope you are proud.
Great news about your DH jobs.
Toots- glad your carer was nice and hope that the man you have this evening is too.
Pigpen sounds like you have a really sensible daughter reporting the knife.
Well i have managed to do 4 loads of washing:D and have tried to contact an electrician for a quote to do my electrics AGAIN. I wish that they had advertised more about needing a Part P certificate when electrical work is done. Last time I needed electrics done a friend of mine was an electrician so there was no problem. Now I need to get it redone so that I can have a certificate for works incase I move!!January Grocery 11/3740
