PenPen - DS1 has maths and History tomorrow but Maths is am (data handling) and History pm (sources paper). Maybe your school do different boards?

Thank you for that - just checked, and yes they're both pm ;) DS is in Y9, so he'll be in school anyway - he tells me they're revising maths all morning :D

Is your DS nearly finished? How's he found them? DD has Textiles next Thur, then she's finished :T :j :xmastree::grinheart:coffee::dance::footie: :bdaycake::easter_ba

After tomorrow he has one Chemistry module next week and then one Physics the week after. He is Yr10 but they do a lot of them early (French/History/Geography/Science modules/english Lit/Maths mods and RS) so he will then continue the rest of the year and then do Year 11.

He has been completely laid back about them all, done some revision and comes home and tells me how well he has done:rolleyes: we will see on results day. His quote yesterday "I haven't been stressed about my exams at all despite your best intentions to stress me out":rotfl:

I'm also celebrating the end of the exams pen-pen - just DS2's statistics on Tuesday - his birthday.

We're watching the football - DD, her BF, and DS2 were supposed to be going, but the tube strike meant they wouldn't be able to get home after probably, so they had to get a refund. They're planning to go up in September instead.

    Huge congrats G&B!!

I went to the allotment this afternoon, resowed the French beans which had been slugged, and also sowed wallflowers, put up wigwams and planted sweet peas - bit late, but I expect they'll grow okay.

Must do the shopping now, and then get off the pc for a while - my eyes are really tired.

when I was a baby my mum found me spluttering while sitting on the floor and scooped out half a spider...and she found boxes of worms I had collected (when I was a bit older) under my pillow...

and well done on the flying Pigpen - had you forgotten how? :rotfl:
    welcome back Chunky
(((hugs))) Holly totally agree with what Pigpen said.

    Toots is still being missed...

Flying - I put the bin out eeking like a girl because the maggots IN IT were crawling out of it and all over it. No doubt this is due to uneaten catfood binned...***cringe***though I did debate offering free rein to the lad over the road who also goes maggot drowning
    Sarah hope it went well

Have done a HHI while my tea was cooking. Going to get an early night tonight...DH is out watching the football so am off to bed with a bar of chocolate to watch the rest of embarrassing bodies.

Hopefully a good nights sleep will make for a better day of flying tomorrow.

tinkerbellsmum and feefeelalabelle - welcome to the thread (and anyone else who has joined recently that I've missed through being pre occupied).
dragonflygems - think its a first Hi from me, see you are in Suffolk. If you're sticking around for a while we are trying to get an Eastern region meet up organised if you want to let us know roughly where you are. Hugs for your DH.
    princessjane - oops
soappie - hope the chick hatched is ok - they are sooo cute when tiny. ETA wow 4 now.
sarahshattered - hope your first day went well.
rosepink - thank you for your lovely words, you are so kind
hollyh - thanx for your support. What a terrible way for your relly to go, much of society disgusts me these days. Really pleased they caught the scum who did it. Hope DS is better now.
greenbee - thx and the cake sounds wonderful
frodders - thx too dont envy you 48 on a school trip
carol22 - hope the exams went well and soo sorry to hear about your granny
pigpen & blueberry pie - I thought I did well arranging my wedding in 3 months but 2 & 3 weeks
Quillion - you are not a carp mum - just look at the list of things you have done with your DS, and why dont you come to Norfolk to see the relatives and join in with ours. I could pick you up from Docking as its about 3 miles from work!
Mudbath - might be worth checking with GP if there is an alternative to the pain killers you need
boddy - glad it was a quiet night for you. How's mum this week and is your DD's leg better now.
bevan - hope it is just a rumour about LL
AnW's mum - thank you for your support, its just a stressful waiting game now
Pigpen - well done for flying
justamum - I've done the slug thing but in flip flops and still managed to get it between my toes - uuuugh
hex - thx and yuk hope the chicken poo has gone. Tiger is gorgeous

Tia - hope all is ok, hope you manage to get some rest
poohbear - hope the probs with DS's are sorted now
GnB - Thx and brilliant result you got
Penpen - Good luck to your DS and DD for their exams. I think my DS has an AS level tomorrow then he should be finished. Mmmm frozen slug, you could create a new delicacy for hard times
Valli - I hope your poor son either gets back together with or gets over the girl soon. I'd feel all the pain too if it were my lad.
Dusty - thank you for asking

Appt tonight was ok, nurse was really really good, explained everything and was very gentle. I think when I first put it off it was a time where there were lots of horror stories about how painful it was and then results for many people were wrong who ended up having operations they didnt need. It kinda put me off and the longer I left it the worse I got about going. I was a bit blurry eyed in the surgery but came home and collapsed in a heap sobbing, I know it was stupid but I guess 23 years of avoidance and what with the other stress I guess I just had to let it out. Feeling ok now but just didnt feel like flying tonight so taking it easy, going to have an early night (as OH came to bed at 3am this morning, didnt even know he'd woke me up and I couldnt get back to sleep again )
