Just caught up with the thread and want to send HUGE hugs to hollyh and kazm

holly what a terrible situation for you and the family, I hope the perpetrators are dealt with swiftly so that you can all move forward. I can't imagine how any of you are feeling, but know that I am here if I can help at all.

kazm keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome for your OH, such a stressful time for you both. Again you know where I am if I can help.

Kitchen nearly done, just the floor to go.

I need to do a list update to see what I'm upto next.

Jo - I'd say stay there even if you take a book/your own paperwork to do if you don't get paid OT

    Bevan
    - hugs - my sis was in a similar situation and did have a guy from the mortgage co round. He said that mortgage companies often keep on good tennants as it is better to get the rent from them than have an empty house. LL was furious about the whole thing and the property never did get repossessed. Sis moved out to be sure at the end of her tenancy.

    Morning all

I did all the bedrooms yesterday, so a star please Soappie :) Just noticed it says wash curtains! Mine were new a couple of months ago so I'm not washing them yet, so you'd better take my star away again Soappie.

Today I've cut the grass back and front, ahead of the forecast rain this afternoon. Edged it and swept up too.

Dusted living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Just sorted out a little basket from the computer shelf which holds batteries/charger/tester, washed out the basket and put stuff back tidily.

Washed my hairbrushes and comb, now drying in the sun.

Thinking about cleaning the bathroom, which I normally do on Thursday, but I've got a bit of a sinus headache so I don't think that's a good plan. See how I feel this afternoon.

I just watched a programme (homes behaving badly). They go on about clutter and you see all their stuff (shoes, boxes of nappies etc) which is all very well, but in the end it's all lovely and clear but there is no sign of their stuff. I know we all want clear spaces but if you've got small children and you have boxes of nappies you have to keep them somewhere, they don't just disappear. I bet all the stuff is out in the garden until the cameras have gone. Grrr. I'm all for getting rid of clutter but there will always be stuff you have to keep and not everybody has big houses and lots of cupboards.

Going to catch up a bit now.

Holly - i'm so glad they caught the 'person' who did it. Hugs again to you and your family.

I've spent most of this morning dropping off on the sofa. This is so not like me but I obviously need to sleep. Just off for a massage now which will be great.

Just going to empty the dogs and tidy up five things first.

    See you all later xx
