Thank you pigpen for not putting the new thread up early tonight.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
evening everybody!
I have had an on and off day with the internet and [hone calls and was worried I would miss the start of the thread but I see not!
In true blue peter style here is a post i made earlier!!:D:D:D:DPigpen - have you called the RSPCA about Hazel? They may well be rather more interested than the police and they can use the law to deal with this kind of thing if their investigations turn up decent evidence.
Toots - if you give us a list of what you've got in the house we'll try to come up with some easy things for you to make and freeze. Then you can do your meal plan and your online shop for the rest of the week.QUOTE]
thanks for the offer regarding ,meals etc - soappie had already given me ideas before i went into hospital and the cupboards and freezer havent changed much - well are a bit less but the problem is that some of the meals would take longer than 30 mins - but I am using some of her ideas and doing an online order today as well.
The carer from this morning (same as yest) was great - I had pulled out what i had in the way of veg and she put on a huge pot of soup - I had some for lunch - will freeze some too. I am going to put a turkey crown I had in the freezer in the oven to roast and that will give me cooked meat too - some for the freezer again and I will do 'rubber turkey' things!!!
HH62 now young lady just stop right there - you are not a disgrace to this or any thread - and as for getting up at 5.30 to get as much done as possible - you are completely mad Sarah put it very well - for starters dont carry stuff over - I know you see a lot of us doing that but you have to remember we have been doing the lists for a looooooooong long time but until you feel you have got things under control just start each day afresh - what you didnt get done from yesterday FORGET IT!!!! If you are lucky and have a good week then maybe you can go back over what you have missed and do some extra jobs. THe main thing is to try to do SOMETHING from the list everyday - even if its just one thing - if you can manage level 1 everyday that is absolutely brilliant! I promise you if you maintain level 1 everyday for a couple of weeks you will see a difference and things will get easier to do and then you can add some bits from level 2 - just because some of the flyers whizz through their lists dont be down heartened - you too will get to that stage - the more you do a room the easier it becomes - you will find your own little routines for the way you tackle a room and it will become a habit without you realizing.
Secondly always post what you have done - no matter how small I am sure you do something everyday - whether its feeding the hordes, making the beds, WM, walking the pets - it all counts as flying because it all takes time- Ok it maybe isnt on the list but its still getting done and you should be pleased that your maintaining these jobs too.
I will pm this to you as well just in case you dont get the chance to check back the thread. Maybe you havent had my welcome pm so i will send you that as well. Hope this all helps. xx
fedup well done angel - I know its hard but keeping working is the best way - and now you are making the house beautiful and tidy for YOU and you deserve it - and if you have an off day at least the house will be tidy and you wont feel bad at not doing something. IYKWIM.
Kazm I am sorry you are still having your panic attacks but I think you are doing very well - you should be well pleased with yourself. as for DH he must be on edge today - what a time they have taken - its a disgrace to have held this over anyone for so long - LOADS AND LOADS OF *DH TO KEEP HIS JOB AND GET BACK TO WORK STRAIGHT AWAY* VIBES FOR HIM (get him out from under Kaz's feet asap!!
pigpen its good that the pain killers are having a sedative effect on Hazel -she needs the extra rest - i am sure she will enjoy getting out into a room later with you.
LadyL ooooooooooh a ride on a Harley - how brilliant - I am sooooooooo jealous - hope you had a lovely day out.
soappie hope you had an enjoyable lunch with ex-mr soappie!
SS supergirl - Hi babes I got the 'message' and as you can see above i have tried to help! I like the leisurely start to the day - sounds good - and strawberry cheesecake for lunch - you lucky lady - spoilt you are!!! So will we be seeing you whizzing through the housework over the next couple of days?? Hows the lurgy - hope you managed to shift it.
sexy It must have been nice yesterday to go out with moon - trust him to buy another 'toy' - I know you said you were busy this week and thats good - were you in any schools where there are vacancies - hope you are still applying - be sure to let us know when you get an interview so we can focus on you. take it easy today and dont wear yourself out.
will udpdate again shortly

Right I'm back after a lovely lunch and afternoon. We ate lunch at the table and then ignored the washing up and went and sat out in the garden until about 15 minutes ago when ExOH left. It was really nice. He's not going home until tomorrow afternoon so I'm going to his caravan site in the morning with the dog and we'll have a walk.
All stars have been updated so Toots can do her stats. I'm now off to water the garden then do the washing up!

Umm, Greenbee, I've totally fallen off the wagon today. Have felt sick all day and so my eating went to pot. The only thing I wanted was crisps, and actually they made me feel better. And I'm really tired so not done any walking. My step count will be really low today
Holly, that sounds awful about DS bursting all the blood vessels in his face, is he ok?
Lady Liberty, I hope you had a lovely time at Petworth, I have very fond memories of going there for picnics with my parents and sister when we were little! Did you see any deer?
HH, please don’t worry about what you haven’t done. Could you set aside half an hour a day to do something? As Sarah says, try to do level one every day and get into a routine of doing that and then build on it. Don’t try to do too much at once, babysteps remember!
Well done Zippy, you have achieved a lot this week!
Fedup, glad to hear that you are going to have a pamper session tonight, that will be lovely. Hope it helps you feel a bit better, at least you will look nice. I moisturised all over last night and it was great! I must do it more often as I was getting very itchy cos of dry skin
I’ve got a bit of a dilemma – due to the library stupid website. It always wants to deliver the books I’ve ordered to Mum’s library (where I used to live) and I have to change it every time to where I live now. But I must have missed doing it on one book and they’ve sent me a thing saying my book has arrived. Do I drive 30 miles there and back to get it, or just reorder it to my local library and pay another £1? I think I know the answer...
As I said yesterday, unless tomorrow actually is the bedroom day, I will be following last weeks bedroom list tomorrow as I didn't manage to do it and it really needs doing.

pollybear - aw poor Dh - its funny how a lot of men are not comfortable dressed up. well done for getting him organised!! I Love your current avatar!
Dusty good to hear the bites are not quite so bad - I am envious of you digging up your potatoes - how lovely!
Valli thanks for the pm - will answer shortly!
Froddy and thank you to for your pm - it all makes sense now - and i will answer shortly too - but I need to to say WELL DONE getting the LR sorted out - I am very proud of you - I knew you could do it - is it all upstairs in the spare room or have you worked through it - No wonder your arm is sore:rolleyes: but i bet it feels good when you look around.
You have all been working like heroes today - well done everyone.
My evening carer came ealrier than i was told 5pm instead of 6 so my tea wasnt ready - she was very nice and we sat and had a coffee and talked.
I managed to do the roast turkey crown, brocolli and new potatoes and had some more of the HM soup to start. It was one of my best ever meals! soappie I followed your suggestions and will be having lemon tukey tomorrow i think!
I will sort out the cooked turkey and the soup later or tomorrow.
I have had my mother, my NOF, and my best mate on the phone and the care worker so I am finding it quite tiring - I had planned to have a nap but it hasnt worked out.

Pigpen - How is Hazel? I meant to comment when you posted those pictures, but I was so far behind in the thread I felt a bit silly!! It almost made me cry - the poor little dear
I can't believe anyone could be that cruel! Hope she gets well soon, and starts to cope with her impaired vision xx *Healing vibes**
