Just to update you.

I went to collect my free gamepad in store.

I explaind to the girl what had happened.

I wanted the old bundle version (I told her )with the wheel and gamepad thown in. I said they had run out of the older version and were told they had to supply the new consoles with the extras., I showed the printout of the thread from this site.

No Problem she said.

Gave me the wheel and the gamepad. ;D

Remember the bulls**t the customer services told me. They didn't want me to have the wheel, thats why they said there were compatibility problems.

The store were sympathetic to my needs !!

Just been and picked up 2 of the slimline PS2s from Argos tonight. They only had them on their own at £99.99. They were advertising today in the paper for a package including PS2, controller, game & memory card for £119.99 but they didn't have this, or any other package. Still at least I got the PS2s.
