Has anybody managed to get one today. I'm now on the look out for my brother in law after finally finding one for my brother last week.

Can't seem to get one anywhere now. Wish he'd told me last week!

I went today and Game had 2 which were snapped up (in bundles i guess), Shops had them a few days ago but I don't think there will be many more until after christmas when the demand will be normal and the deals will get better. Boots have finally decided to let me have one which will be here tomorrow along with £40 in points and a giftcard of ??? is on its way also so it can be my little pressie ::) Finally

So - PS2s back in stock! No surprises there then.

We don't have any virgins where we live but last week the Tescos in Milton Keynes had some PS2s in stock and on the shelf at £99.89 so if anyone wants one it's probably worth checking your local Tesco Extra as well.

Sony say 'certain' retailers will be receiving PSTwos this week, but I wouldn't hang around as it will be like mission impossible to get one after 9am on Wednesday (Stores will be packed!!)

Hi Johntea, don't forget to claim your free items with the PS2 from Argos as per the deal in their Christmas catalogue. 882/4350 Tri Steering Wheel & 882/4367 Additional Controller FOC. When they drafted this catalogue, the deal was meant for the old PS2, however they will supply with todays equivalant which is the new slimline version. Never really bothered keeping up with alleged Playstation shortages myself. But was in HMV last week and g/f saw one and said must buy as you can sell it on eBay for £300+. Badly mistaken I now know, but serves us right :-) And I get to play :-):-)

I have yet to see a PS2 around this area.

I am not really interested now as I have bought Xbox instead, but just tried all the shops including Argos, and none here at all since the so called shortage.
