  • *waves* Hi Bob! Sounds like you're having a busy day?!

Hi EH,:hello: yep busy and expensive. Just paid the remainder for my glasses and for DD1's glasses:o_pale_ So that is my wages going down the drain before i have even got them. £160 for 5 pairs of specs not bad though, and another £20 of M&S vouchers heading my way:D
£8 on shopping on Market for fruit veg and Chicken Kievs so that's ok, and i must admit although my specs are for reading etc they do make a difference and i will have less eye strain from being on here.:rotfl::rotfl:

Having a spot of lunch then taking her to band practice, she is a warbler in one of those goth bands:rolleyes:Sounds pretty good really.:D:D
    Bit like Evanessence (sp?)

I like Evanessence! V sexy singer.

When that chicken factory burnt down I had to take some stuff to their other Factory in Suffolk. the poor bloke on goods in was doing his nut 'I only get two or three trucks a day here' he said....at this point there were seven of us crammed into his yard with trailers full of chicken......4 hours wait at £13 per hour, thanks very much:D

  • Well have spent a nice afternoon out. After dropping DD2 off at band practice i got a phone call from a friend who was working with her company at a summer fair locally, so went there and a very nice display of men in army uniform was going on...was worth the parking alone.:D

So afternoon spends total £4, priceless.:T

OOps forgot the petrol as well so another £33 on that, it has gone up again...boo.:o So a bit of an expensive day, at least i will be able to claim most of the petrol back so not all bad and the glasses were a necessity...the £4 wasn't.LOL:rotfl:

For Ellidee, have a lovely time in Cornwall. If this weather continues it will be great.:D
