Well today, i found i had a bit of time on my hands.... as you do. Was meandering in town browsing in Charity book shops. We have a wonderful one here that supports a local hospice...and oh my...............
I found loads of those revision books, full guides..you name it they had it..and all for the price of 50p:T Manna from Heaven. So i spent £10 ( i have lots of pupils sitting GCE's and what not, lots of practice SATS papers too.:D:D:D
And the best part is that not only have i saved money, but it is reimbursed too:T
I am amazed as when i order the books direct they are outrageously priced. Education the MSE way eh?:rotfl:
Then i went into a cheapie book shop ( new ones reduced) and got some more AQA ones with CD Roms for the bargainous price of £3...i am amazed as it is the full course with everything in.
To say i am a happy bob today is an understatement. The pupils won't be happy, but hey ho!:rotfl:
Other news is that the garden is looking a bit more decent and maybe won't be so embarrassed having visitors through the back door.
Oh and i have also done loads of washing:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Bob's top tip for the year i reckon.
Car boots, charity shops etc, are a far cheaper way of picking up these books and a lot of the older ones especially maths ones are far better explained than some of the new ones ( without the eye watering colours too!):DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I do feel pretty positive. I think it is helping that i am over that rotten virus, energy levels are good and i am sleeping well at the moment. I still have the odd night where snoring is a problem, but as they are fewer rather than more..well it helps tremendously.I didn't realise how tired i had become.
Thank God for the NHS and the snoring squad!:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
