Pah!
Woke up this morning totally unrefreshed, but snivel- less you will be pleased to here ( or not)
Mse duties, ie check the bank and found i have been under paid:o:mad: Of course it is hols and no one to answer my questions for at least a fortnight probably...
Don't get me wrong it is a decent amount, but expenses need paying etc. To say i am pee'd off is an understatement.:mad:
I will probably get those next pay day, so will have summat to look forward to..fingers crossed for the next fortnight.
Other news, Filled in the wasps nest with expanding foam. Well i say filled in the nest, but more likely filled up my porch with it as it took a whole can:cool:
Weird things they are, as i would have thought they were all in the nest, but this morning there have been the drones trying to get in..i wonder how long it will take for them to give up and booger off from my porch. Clever though how they know where to go.
That's about it really. The leg and knee are feeling normal, have been good and not hobbled too far so may have a drive later on. I missed out on getting my hair done yesterday, so may well have to get the shears to it..there is a big family do on Mr.B's side next week as his parents celebrate their Golden wedding anniversary. I have already bought pressies using my beloved M&S vouchers:o and just have to buy some witch repellant to last the week with them and i should be ok. So only spends should be petrol and a Taxi for the evening. Haven't found an outfit yet as i have worn my decent stuff to death on the past few family occasions..i am on every photo to prove it.:o
Am going to have a think about it, and try and get in touch with office again.
Have a good day Bob xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

just checked the pk
€14.00 per kilo = €4.99 reduced to €2.39 for 340g
out of that 340g i would get 2 diners for the 4 of us
but the portions are small,,,do i need to bulk it out more with something?WAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING

You can bulk it out with oats and lentils, apparently the trick is to add a bit at a time and see how you like it.
Depends what you are making really and you could add seasonal cheap veg too.
I have bought some of Aldi's lean mince today. It works out at £2.49 for 500g. I usually get three meals out of that and make 12 portions, so 83p a portion and therefore just about 21p per person.
I generally make spag bol..always bulked out with onions, peppers, sometimes i make it into chilli con carne and add Kidney beans.
Lasagne, same as above really but with cheese sauce and lasagne sheets.
Hotpot or shepherds pie...makes a good amount too.
If i felt that portions were too skinny ( and believe me they aren't) well i could also add extra oats to stuff, but in all honesty the veg and sauces are enough for me.
On that note my total shop today came to £34. This should last us until we go away, barring the milk.
Oh and some of that included a nice bottle of rioja wine, haven't had any wine for over 3 weeks and no pain killers for anything at the moment..so i am having a glass or three tonight.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I forgot about meatballs...yum, yum:D
Well not quite a week, but the middle of the week. Their anniversary is on wednesday and i am trying to go up on the day and meal in the evening then we just have thursday and friday to get through..or not. Fingers crossed, as she just makes life difficult all the time with questions, etc. oh and generally asking me things in front of other people (family politics etc) I am adept at avoiding, it just narks me and Mr.B is no good at backing up at all, so no doubt there will be a few arguments.:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Just smile and think happy thoughts - she'll think you're drunk and leave you alone!
Off to make dinner, after last night's slovenly efforts it's chops, veg and baby pots here tonight. Mind you DS asked for lamb chops and they were about double the price of pork so pork chops it is!Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

not as far as i know we are way behind the uk for those sorts of deals..
3.5 million, captive customers compared to 65 million
dont make us much of a force,,
however the government(under pressure) did retract and allow tescos to import its stuff from the uk
so food their is down 25%
so we are closer to uk prices id say 5/10% more expensive two weeks ago we were +40% easilyWAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
