Did you not claim back your PPI charges?
Didn't have any with MBNA. He has a claim in with Capital one, which has been refused...so second letter to them.
None with egg, although he has a couple of late fees.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Have had another busy day and after work drove upto Lake district to drop DS off at his new job Staff accomodation is in Windemere itself and clean and very basic. His mate has gone up tonight and after me being a tearful mum, making sure he had money and food etc. i reckon he couldn't wait to get rid and have a pint with his mate...ungrateful kids eh?

Yes, but Dads are more embarrassing......especially when we dance!:rotfl:
Reading through your previous posts, Bob, do you think that presenting yourself to Mr Bob in a tennis skirt, Football shirt, cricket pads and holding a Rugby ball would get him going? ( Maybe grunting a la Sharapova??)
Shaun, please dont tell me you have an appropriate 'smiley' for that image:eek::D stay wonky

Cannock Chase ( the A5 through Shropshire, get on from the M6 J12 or take the M54 and come off at J2 and head North ) has some good places to stop and eat etc, espesh where it crosses the Canal.
Only use the A5 from there as the Southern but, particularly from Tamworth southwards can be a bit of a pig as its mostly single carriageway! So use the M1, M6 but only get food/drink at the Marks and Spencer Service Areas!!!...much cheaper in their Shops than the Services themselves.
The A5 East ( south to you ) close to the M6 or M6 Toll road has several good Truck Stops which are clean and do good, cheap food even if you are not in a Truck.
Llangollen is good for a stop.
...or there is the Swingers club on the A5 just below Lutterworth:eek:...(sorry 'Private' Hotel):D stay wonky

Do you know Caernarvon, Shaun? Its mega-impressive. Conway too. Llandudno - we went on holiday in Llandudno when I was little. And Colwyn Bay. Have you ever stopped off at Menai itself? There's a tower .... can't you walk across one of the bridges? What about Snowdonia? Or Porthmadog if you're heading south ... isn't Porthmadog Port madoc, where The Prisoner was filmed?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
