    What kind you got? :p

Oh yes - Mr Bobgood come back:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
    Almost forgot about that.

On the debtbusting front, take into account the APR on the over draft and CC, but also if the CC account has been well run, could you be offerred a balance transfer offer as an existing cutomer once you get a nil balance? Do you get many offers in the mail (No, not male offers...)

*COUGH* am talking about Mr.B's account here George, a bit of an anathma, the words 'well run' and customer offers, they don't often go hand in hand with his accounts. He had two 0% offers last year and mucked them both up in the end. He does cost that bloke:o

    Well done to DS.

Can't believe you got out of Lakeland without buying anything! the sale is on too, I would have bought something that I really, really needed until I got home and thought about it...

  • There wasn't that much in the sale really and believe me, i had a good look! I nearly bought a Remoska and then couldn't justify it.

  • Just an addendum for today. Mr.B had a letter awaiting him tonight and MBNA have been decent souls and refunded every single penny of his charges..in fact they have been really good with him and also returned his cheque for £10 as have Egg. So another £540 to add to total.:o

Mr.B thinks we played hardball with them, but as he never put pen to paper or added stuff up or sent the letters off....then he coud hardly claim we! I also pointed out that he should spread the word of the site, as without this place he would not be in that position and if he had listened in the first place:cool: Oh well.:o:o

    Here endeth the sermon.

    Of to update sig.

I remember the pain and frustration when you were trying to get him to do those letters and failing! Glad YOU got a result!

I just followed the templates on here and in all honesty they have been very good. Got the usual first letter back saying partial, then sent the second and they gave the lot back plus the £10 cheque as well....in fact, they sent two cheques back as Mr.B began looking at this a while ago and sent two off. They even detailed the charges for us so i didn't have to go through statements.:D So credit where it is due, they have been thoroughly decent...a rarity maybe.
