Trying to install new printer

    Your computer is quite safe as long as you stay offline until you reinstall it.
    Comodo is a very poor AV program anyway (as you are finding out), you would be much better protected using Avira or Kaspersky (the former is free, the latter currrently free if you bank online with Barclays).
    I left it in to the computer repair shop so i have no cd and i did not install it.
    i'm sorted now anyway.......Thanks

    I have now installed the printer ( i think ) but when i go to print something it says...The computer cannot communicate with the printer....but it is showing my old Dell Printer. I vaguely remember you have to go in somewhere and configure the new printer to the actual computer ....How ?

    Go Control Panel>Printers and Faxes. Set your new printer as the default (select/right click) and delete the old one.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
