Afternoon All

Having a relaxing day at home, looking after Mum who had a hospital thing yesterday. She's laid up for a week with her arm now, so down to me to run things:rotfl:

Disappointed my lime vodka wasn't green - it turns yellow for anyone who hasn't made it and has the same expectations as me! But it tastes great.

Got to de-slug the strawberry patch in a bit and see if there are any radishes left to pull.

Breakfast was porridge with blueberries. No lunch as no food in the house and dinner is salmon. Going to see if there's anything here to make a cake.

Afternoon all

Well turned out not bad at all here so got 3 loads of washing line dried. Some dark clouds gathering now so that might be the end of it,although washer is still on with last load.

Had a lovely run out to 2 garden centres(didn't have any nice hanging basket type plants in first one) and I now have a lovely colourful hanging basket outside front door and a beautiful deep pink plant in the gap in the border - not sure what it is - will have to look it up in plant book.

Bm on again - where does it all go? House is lovely and clean for the week ahead, just going to bake some hob-nobs and maybe a lemon drizzle cake for packed lunches then will sit and watch tv for evening!

Evening All - very quiet on here today!
Am feeling more relaxed as our Church Summer Fair went well yesterday (I was organising it this year:eek: ) Anyway, despite not wonderful weather we raised in excess of £3,500, so I'm feeling really pleased!
Looking forward to being a bit more OS this coming week. Have to finish painting the spare bedroom (2 walls done so far!) and find my sewing machine again.
Patio looks great, and beans are beginning to twine up the stakes.
Need to catch up on here again - best wishes to all!

Gosh, very quiet on here today.

Been extremely busy at work the last 3 days, so not had chance to come on here properly.

Nothing OS going on. Feel bad about saying that on here, but also don't like reading and then not posting!

MSD - hope the toothache improves, its one of the worst pains you can have.

Just realised how late it is...had a broken night last night as had to go to city at 2 am to collect DD4 she was in a friend's for dinner and then missed last bus home...caught up this morning but day has flown...lots of football and hurling on so needed to watch that so that was afternoon gone!

We had roast lamb for dinner...barely enough for 4 of us at €5.99 it was a treat really and I roasted squash, onions and potatoes with it...really enjoyed it.

Hugs to all who are feeling unwell, especially MSD...toothache is the worst pain I have ever had.

Have to look for a new doctor to-morrow, I am out of prescription for my medication, not sure I can have a repeat with new script, need to get up early to get that sorted.
