Morning Everyone
Its MD's confirmation this afternoon so been up since 5am decorating the cake and cleaning as come lunchtime it'll be all tantrums and tiaras here. She's got a beautiful outfit and cant wait to see her in it with her hair done etc.I made her cards last night so thats a weight off my mind. We're going out for a meal later so no need for my domestic services after lunch has been served.Confirmation Mass isnt till 4pm so it'll be about 5.30pm by the time we sit down to eat
On an Os front the ironing is done and the washing is waiting to go out.Kitchen floor needs mopping and vacuuming needs doing. If I've time I could do with cleaning the leather sofas but we'll see on that one
Just had a massive omelette for my brekkie so that should last me till we eat tonight.Kids will be having sarnies for lunch
MSD-Hope the toothache has eased. My hubby swears by mouthwash and painkillers rather than clove oil
Bitsy Beans-I tried the Turkey Legs and was most disappointed as the meat was stringy and not a lot of it either so wouldnt buy them again
Lesleyxx

Pen-pin-Hope you are feeling well0 -
Morning all,
Been raining all night here, but its lovely now, need to get at least two loads of washing to do.
Tea will be a bit of a mixture i think, there is a small pasta bake in the freezer, and a small quiche, several pitta breads etc, might just get all the silly bits out and have a sort of help yourself buffet type of tea.
Long walk needed for little dog today, she was frantic last night as she did not get out yesterday, as we helped my sister to move, my dog and sisters were at mums for the day.
We managed to move all of sisters stuff between 6 of us with 2 vans :T the others went back and forth loading and I stayed at the new house cleaning and putting away. They were still in a right state when we left, but at least it was all in.
Diva, I hope you get some relief for your tooth soon x
Jackie :T:T
Bitsy I always cook my turkey legs in the sc, but it makes the meat, very tender and sort of stringy, its best used in a curry.
Nic glad you found the dress :T
ravylesley, good luck for md today, and for you, I hope all goes well, tissues at the ready xx
Have good days all xx0 -

Ravylesley - hope the confirmation goes well
PP - hope you're feeling well today x
what a grotty day. DS1 and his partner were supposed to be visiting later but the road is flooded ATM so dont know if he'll come now.
Just going to have a day pottering around the house cathcing up on jobs, waiting for a break in the weather to take one of the hounds out - sadly the other cant manage a walk anymore - he's 15 and a bit wobbly on his legs so all he can do is a run round the garden but luckily we've got a huge garden.
Have got washing hanging round the house to dry.
Tonight we'll be glued to the apprentice final - its so close I havent a clue who will win.
I hope you all have a great day
Take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Lots of OS jobs here today! Got chicken in SC ("Roasted today, curried tomorrow, salad on next day and of course in various guises for packed lunches - how far can one small chicken go??) Washing on line and ironing to do!! Then going to sit and write reports (I am a teacher!!) - wondering if I can eb OS about them and recycle the comments between the children!!!!
Bitsy - I was a convert to Turkey legs, did in SC for AGES. CAme out OK for sarnies and curries, not sure I'd want it on a "dinner"!!
Diva - toothache is yucky!! Take it easy..... Big Hugs (haven't worked out how to put little hugging men in yet!!)
Raylesley - Have a lovley day - Cpnformation is a big step and a lovely occasion - got your tissues ready?Children are born with wings .... Teachers help them to flyOne day your life is going to flash in front of your eyes.... Make sure it's worth watching!!!!!0 -
Morning
It's windy here but dry at the moment so I've chanced the washing on the line. I'm around to bring it in if needs be but hoping it'll dry as DS3 comes home from his PGL trip with school at 8pm tonight and will no doubt have tons of washing
Dinner this evening is HM pizza as there's lots of bits & bats to use up in the fridge and the kids all help to make it. Ironing and the usual Sunday sorting out to do but not much else thankfully. MIL is back in hospital so we'll go and see her this afternoon.
Diva Hope you find a dentist to sort your poor tooth out xx
Lesley Enjoy the confirmation it doesn't seem that long ago that it was my DD how time flies. I've been meaning to say that the custard filled birthday cake was a complete success and loved by everyone so thanks for the idea. Hope your cake is well received today.
I hope that everyone enjoys their Sundays whatever you're up to and a *wave* to all the missing posters hope you're all ok.0 -
Good luck with the confirmation, Ravylesley!
Noah - we live in the Deux-Sevres (dept 79) region of SW France. We have all the major supermarkets, so I will start exploring them all. For convenience, and because I've got to know it quite well now, I tend to stick to L'Eclerc. I might moan about the price of cabbages, but I've never seen such big lettuces, and the tomatoes are gorgeous. Having said that, I'm growing my own now!

Morning all
I'm off out in a while to DD2's for a birthday lunch for DGS, only found out last night as they were waiting for the ex to decide what time he wanted to get there. Then DD1 & I are off to a summer fayre, £3 entrance & it's undercover, lol.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Owl - when you are typing your post click on advanced & you will see the smilies there, just click on the one you want :j:D:rotfl::T you can also format your post, change the font etc etc
Redruby - that is our favourite kind of tea.
Hester - enjoy your summer fayre, feel sorry for people who organise things this time of year then have it spoilt with the weather. The Blackwater County show is next week & I have everything crossed that it will be dry then.
