I used em - good experience on the whole with not recieving secondhand products like others

Enotes and delivery are slow but in the end I got a refund no problems on a knackered DVD Burner - even though I had to pay tho have it posted back as I couldnt be bothered to wait in for their courier.

I'd use them again no hesititaion as I have done 3 or 4 orders that went fine

I ordered a refurbished Fuji camera from them a while back, mysteriously with the wrong USB cable in the box. After redialling for half an hour, and then being on hold for 20 minutes..I was told I'd get a replacement cable sent out that day.

Three times they sent out different cables..all the wrong ones. (How difficult would it be to check?). I gave up in the end and ordered one from ebay. Waiting forever on the phone again and again didn't appeal.

I'd read recently they were trying to spruce up their customer service (a new MD or something?) so expected better things this time around.

I got 2 parcels, out of 3 I was expecting, today. I phoned ebuyer..every time I phone I hear "Welcome To Ebuyer" and get cut off!! Seven times this has happened so far. Very, very frustrating.

I have used ebuyer a lot and have never had any problems with them.

They did have some problems towards the end of 2004 when they moved premises but this has all been sorted now and there service is back on top form.

I have built various pc's using ebuyer and have found them to be cheap and very relieable when it comes to delivery and supply of items.

If you ensure that the item you require is in stock when you order it then you reduce the chance of having "problems". An out of stock item is hardly a major problem however. Apply some common sense when ordering and save yourself the grief of waiting for stock to arrive.

used ebuyer a few times... no complaints as yet. weighing up some of their refurb laptops, but not sure about taking the plunge.... they are based down the road, but something tells me they would still make me use online customer support and citilink delivery, despite the fact i could pick it up on my way to work.... ;)

Before I buy from any company online I always do a Google search. E.g. if the company is called FRED, I do a Google search for FRED PROBLEMS. Tried this on eBuyer a while ago and was put off. I usually buy from Amazon and the service is superb.
Eh?? I give up!! Towel is getting thrown in here! :D

I've bought about £2k of stuff from them over the last 3 years - they are cheap esp for components - minor hassles with late delivery but basically OK

Everything was fine until they cocked up an order - which I'd paid extra for next day delivery. They promised the rest of it three times and eventually offered me as compensation - a telephone number to talk to a human being !

Who refused any other compensation and gave another promise to deliver - failed so I went and bought it elsewhere then 2 days later CityLink tried to deliver it

Never again ! and certainly never for a high value component

  • I love eBuyer and its prices. I've used them to buy a number of items without any problems at all and will continue to do so.

I've used them a number of times without major hassles but wouldn't buy anything expensive from them. If you have any problems it takes them days to reply to enotes, although when they did agree to send out missing cables etc. they usually get them in the post pretty quickly.
Shame Citylink keep delivering PC cases in battered boxes though!
