Have used them 40 or 50 times in the last couple of years, buying various componants... As previously stated their e-notes system is frustrating, but I've found that complaining by email usually frees things up again.
Excellent prices but somewhat let down by customer service....
Ebuyer's biggest problem by far is that they use City Link for delivery - flipping nightmare courier... boxes battered, late, missing - but I did trust them to get me a Robosapien before xmas and they came through today with delivery bang on time so they're in the good books at the mo'.
All in all - not much different from my other suppliers - cheaper but delivery patchy....
Would prefer pcwb or dabs for more important items...I see you baby....0 -
Ebuyer is good up to a point...but believe in the scare stories on the internet, my dad had to take them to court last year just to get 50 pounds back from them when they failed to replace a board he bought from them which was faulty and he'd sent back. It took about 6 months before the thing was over...saying that the computer im using right now was built almost completely of components from the site (bought before the other trouble) so it is good, just don't spend loads there!

E buyer prices - excellant
deliveries so/so. On the order they promised delivery in 4-5 days, actually took 8 days (but i had of course paid £4.95 for 4-5 day delivery !).
MTC ;D
p.s. while i'm on, i'd just like to defend the Initial Citylink parcel service. I use them to deliver parcels for me on a daily basis and i have never (never) had a customer complain that a parcel has taken over 24 hours to reach them or that a parcel has arrived damaged.
I appreciate that i could just be lucky, but i thought it was fair to sahre my experiences. Now if you want to talk about ANC ..............pppppppaaaaaaannnntttttttsss0 -
lol. I know its a bit o/t but how much is citylink?Nice to Save. To save it's ____0

Citylink charges vary by weight and whether its local or nationwide but a rough guide is 7 kg nationwide next day £7.35 + vat, 22 kg nationwide next day £11.19 + vat, 30 Kg 13.75 + vat, i think local deliveries up to 20 kg are about £5.00 and if you are sending a 'link letter parcel' (a package less than 5 kg) it's slightly cheaper agin.
they are not the cheapest but their service level is absolutely excellant.

I agree with others on here. Ebuyer are usually the cheapest, but let down by a) customer services b) citylink.
As I've never had to return anything, my biggest gripe is citylink (late delivery, rude customer services, no delivery at all).
Only two probs over a few years of ordering:
1. Citylink didn't delivery one of my items on time once (came the day after) and ebuyer gave me free postage on my next order
2. A new PC case came without the correct kettle-type plug , and to be fair theu couriered one out straight away.0
