Have I totally effed up my credit rating now?

I have one mainstream credit card plus Vanquis and Aqua. Things had been great with Aqua, got my first CC limit within 2 months. Unfortunately I made a big purchase this month that took me to £5 below my credit limit. Then Aqua added my monthly interest and the balance shot over my credit limit by about £1. Then they added a £12 overlimit fee! I've now paid the entire balance off. I cleared the overlimit within about 48 hours of it happening. Does this mean that my credit rating within Aqua and in general is now screwed? (I've never gone over the limit elsewhere or ever missed a payment etc)

I'd be interested in the answer to this as I drifted over my limit on my accessory card but corrected it straight away also

No. Only if you are late paying.

No, it wont be reported on your Credit Report. As long as it's paid on time, then it'll still report as green 0.

Yes. You're unlikely to get a limit increase anytime soon as a result.

I pay my hubby's bills for him and 2 month's ago I paid his Aqua card on the same day it was due in:o So it was credited to his account one day late. Anyway, he has looked at his credit file and he still has all his little green 0's.

Updates are not normally provided until after statement dates so a day or two should result in a zero as opposed to a (1)
