Barclays - Only Sent summary list not actual Dates of charges...what now?

Barclays have only sent me a summerised list of charges for the last 6 years by year not date specific.
How do I calculate interest applicable on these (8% as advised) when submitting my claim under hardship guidelines when I dont know the dates in question.
Thanks

Thanks - is this to be taken then as some form of cover up from them or to get more money out of money?
Would I again have to ask for this info in detail under the DPA as per the templates on here (I have not amended any terms in the template)
or should they have deemed the request to have been explicit in terms of the information I need?
They have already cashed a cheque for £10!!
Do I have to pay again for new info?
Charges amount to over £2k so am keen to try and salavage something back.0 -
No, they should have sent a letter with the statements with a reference number for the SAR. Write back to them and state that as you cannot confirm the amounts and the dates, that you require the statements for the whole period and you consider the SAR not completedThanks - is this to be taken then as some form of cover up from them or to get more money out of money?

Hi Sorry for late reply in following this up:
Sorry for ignorance but what is SAR ?
Can I also refer to the "reserve usage" charges as these were not listed.
Since last post I have been advised by Barclays that they are closing my account and have referred to a 3rd party (they are listed on my DMP) and have not accepted my offer from CCCS - is this normal practise? They have also said they will contact me directly - Do they not deal with the CCCS on my behalf?
Can I still proceed with a claim now for charges with an account closed?
Sorry for all the questions - Thanks again in advance.0 -

SAR= Subject Access Request. You can reclaim Reserve Useage Fees but I would get the claim in ASAP and remind them that the amount owed is in dispute.0 -

Are you effectively saying that once the account is closed by default I have no comeback to claim even if they choose to close it?
Their letter was dated the 12th and I only recieved today first class....so am guessing they may have already actioned this.0 -
Hi all,
First post, but an interesting thread.
I have applied to Barclays for a list of charges and have also received a "summary" amount. In the letter they sent me acknowledging my complaint they say I "have incurred both unauthorised overdraft charges, and charges relating to Barclays new current account product" They go on to say they will deal with both issues seperately, and explain the proceedings with the OFT in relation to the OD charges. They are keeping my complaint on this issue on file until the OFT case is sorted.
The second letter goes on to explain the position in respect of my Personal Current Account and the changes they have made to the Terms and Conditions changed in August 2008. They have enclosed various documents to assist me to "manage your account so that you can minimise the fees you may incur in future." They explain that they will keep the complaint open for 8 weeks (4 weeks to go)and if they have not heard from me, will consider the complaint as closed.
My "feeling" is that charges are charges and the issue is that they should be fair and equitable in ALL cases and the fact that they split them into two categories as outlined above is irrelevant. Is this the correct approach?
Anyone else had similar? What should my response be?
Any guidance appreciated.
