Cheaper roaming texts in Europe on Orange from July 1st

Had a text from Orange this morning saying they are reducing roaming texts within Europe to 10.8p per text from July 1st.

Is this something to do with the new european legislation on roaming charges?

    So how did they know I am in France the last 7 days of June then? B******s!!
    At the moment it's 25p per text.

    If you will be texting alot macman can always get a vodafone pay as you go or if O2 pay as you go work the same way as O2 contract, an O2 pay as you go simcard. And use the SMS to send messages back from.
