Tiscali - a warning! - Can I change?

Hi,

Just a warning to anyone considering Tiscali for Broadband, Phone & TV - it doesn't work! You need to be able to receive at least 6mbs for the TV to work, yet even at 7.3mbs I still have major problems with the broadband. Apparently the TV takes up 65% of the bandwidth. The result is that I have to open 3 or 4 browser windows to get a connection, and popups rarely work. Tiscali support, although extremely rude, have done everything they can but it just won't improve. My in-laws have the same problem.

Can I leave Tiscali as they've failed to provide the service they offered? I'm only 3 months in and don't really want another 9 months of this dreadful system.

you can leave when you like but can you leave without a charge dont know but at the moment alot of places for example sky, and BT to name just two are offering cash for ppl who are Tiscali, moving to them, with cashback from quidco site added on top might cover most if not all of the disconnection fee Tiscali will charge you if one cant leave for bad service or whatever.

Tiscali have been bought by carphone warehouse, a good opportunity to change.
